EA And Maxis Announce The Sims 4 Comes To PC's Worldwide In Autumn 2014
EA And Maxis have announced the release window for The Sims 4 on PC. it will have a worldwide release and it is set to come out next Autumn. The Sims 4 is being called the most ambitious Sims game ever made.

EA And Maxis Have Announced Red Cross DLC Is Coming To SimCity, 80% Of Proceeds Go To Red Cross
EA And Maxis have announced they are collaborating with the Red Cross in 10 countries to provide Red Cross DLC. this content will cost £7.99 when released, but a minimum of 80% of this will go to the red cross. this DLC includes a Red Cross Centre, 2 vehicles that attend do natural disastors, and Red Cross tents that appear in various locations. each tent that then disappears, brings back 10 healthy sims to the city.

EA and Maxis have released a new video for The Sims 3: Island Paradise. this video shows in-game action of a producer playing through the Island Paradise expansion. it shows him making his house boat, hiring the crew, exploring the seas, creating his own resort and even trying out some of the new jobs the expansion brings.

EA And Maxis Reveal The Amusement Park DLC For SimCity Is Out Today
EA And Maxis have announced the Amusement Park DLC for SimCity is out now. available from the EA Origin Store for £7.99, players can now build and customise their own amusement park. there are 9 rides, 3 entry gates and 5 concession stands to play with. this DLC also brings 5 new missions to SimCity based around tourism.

EA Announce SimCity Comes To Macs On 11th June, Reveal Cross Buy And Cross Save With PC
EA have announced SimCity is coming to Macs on 11th June digitally via Origin. EA have confirmed that people who have SimCity on PC, either digitally or a boxed copy, will be getting a Mac version of the game for free and those who get the Mac version will get a PC version of free. both your copies of the game will grant you access to your city, achievements and leaderboards and both PC and Mac versions will also play online together.

EA And Maxis Announce Free Download For SimCity Owners Due To Launch Issues, Reveal 1.1M Sales
EA And Maxis have announced SimCity has sold over 1.1 Million in its first 2 weeks on sale, of which around 54% were digital downloads. EA estimate it's Origin service had 44% of those 54% digital sales.
In just two weeks:
- SimCity players have logged more than 15 million hours of online gameplay.
- More than 5.7 million original cities have been created since launch.
- More than 780 million buildings have been built.
- SimCity mayors to date have built enough road and railroad tracks to circle the globe more than 40,000 times.
This free game period requires those with a copy of the game to register it before the end of 26th March, and the free game to be claimed by early 31st March. the free game will be available from EA's Origin Service and your choice of free game is out of the following:

Maxis Reveal The SimCity Beta Runs From 25th January Till 28th, Sign Ups Open Until 21st January
EA And Maxis have revealed the SimCity beta will run from 25th January until the 28th January. those who previously signed up for the beta are in strong consideration to be a part of it. Maxis have revealed that there is still a chance for other people to join as as Beta sign ups are open until 2AM GMT on 21st January.
The Beta runs 5pm GMT on 25th January until 8AM 28th January. it allows players to play a 1 hours slice of the game, that can be played multiple times. at the Beta site, fans can deliver their feedback.

Maxis Have Released A New SimCity Gameplay Video Showing Co-Op Multiplayer
EA and Maxis have released a new gameplay video for SimCity. this video introduces ways you can play with your friends in Multi-City. outside your city is land where you can develop, in the video the player uses the land to create a power station. the friend asks to join the game and the player gives them the land with the power station. this means the 1st player gets the power, but pays for it, whilst their friend manages the land. this benefit is further shown when the 1st player needs a fire brigade, their friend has one so they come and help out. the idea is to create not just a city, but to create a region that helps each city out between you and your friends.
