Microsoft People Can Now Register For The Xbox 360 Dashboard Preview Program

Microsoft have announced gamers can now register to take part in the preview program for the next Xbox 360 Dashboard update. this preview program is open to all Xbox Live members and you can register by going here. if your accepted into the program, an update will be pushed to your console. this initial update will contain:

  • New design with integrated Kinect voice and gesture controls
  • Beacons
  • Facebook Sharing
  • Cloud Storage for Game Saves and Xbox LIVE Profile

Further programs and updates might come to your console before the final firmware update is released

Lexis Numérique have released a new trailer for Amy. this video features a member of the dev team talking about Contamination. in the game world, a disease has turned people into Zombies. Sony Online Entertainment Have Released A Launch Trailer For Sideway: New York

Sony Online Entertainment have released the launch trailer for Sideway: New York. this is a 2D platformer set in a 3D world that is out now on the PSN for $9.99. the video shows in-game action and shows how you get sucked into the 2D graffiti world and the unique platforming you experience in it.

Sony Announce 60,000 PSN and 33,000 SOE Accounts Have Been Comprimised

Sony have announced an attempt was made to login into a massive set of PSN and Sony Online Entertainment Accounts. it appears the login attempts were made using data that was stolen from other companies, sites, and sources. Sony say the majority of these login attempts failed, but there have been some compromised. in all 60,000 PSN and 33,000 SOE accounts were compromised.

Sony say NO credit card information was stolen. all those affected accounts have been temporarily locked. each account is being reviewed to make sure what accessed it was authorised or not. it is possible those compromised accounts may have had money spent on the PSN Store, if this is the case Sony will restore your PSN Wallet amounts.

All those compromised accounts will require a password reset. Sony has sent out an email to all those affected, via the email associated with your PSN Account, the same applies to SOE accounts.

Warner Bros. Announce The Nightwing DLC Pack For Batman: Arkham City Comes out 1st November

Warner Bros. and Rocksteady have revealed the first DLC pack for Batman: Arkham City. the Nightwing Bundle brings 2 new challenge maps, Wayne Manor and Main Hall, as well as the Nightwing character Skin. Nightwing can be used in alll of the challenge maps in the game. the Nightwing BUndle is set to cost 560 MS Points on the 360 and €6.99/£5.49 on the PSN.

Warner Bros. have also revealed that the Robin DLC Pack is set to come out for all users on 22nd November. However, its possible to get early access to this pack by pre-ordering the Batman: Arkham City Robin Edition from GAME and GameStation in the UK.
