EA have announced SimCity is coming to Macs on 11th June digitally via Origin. EA have confirmed that people who have SimCity on PC, either digitally or a boxed copy, will be getting a Mac version of the game for free and those who get the Mac version will get a PC version of free. both your copies of the game will grant you access to your city, achievements and leaderboards and both PC and Mac versions will also play online together.

that SimCity will be coming to the Mac on June 11
exclusively as a digital release via Origin™. Fans who
purchase SimCity will be able to play the game on Mac and
PC, regardless of which version they buy, as well as access their
cities from across both platforms. Players who have previously
purchased SimCity for PC, either as a physical or a digital copy
will receive the Mac version as a free digital download on Origin* on
June 11.

Via Origin, SimCity is cross-platform compatible, so all players will be able to play together across the same servers.
