EA And BioWare Announce Mass Effect 3: Extended Cut, A Free DLC Pack That'll Expand The End Of The Game

EA And BioWare have revealed Mass Effect 3: Extended Cut. this free DLC will help expand on the ending to Mass Effect 3 via additional cinematic sequences and epilogue scenes. the Extended Cut will come to the PC, PS3, And Xbox 360 this summer. BioWare say this Extended Cut is a response to the feedback from fans, but do say that this extension will be a mix of providing answers whilst keeping true to the original artistic vision. The Extended Cut does mean that post release DLC may be affected as the team try to get this Extended Cut released.

Activision Announce Skylanders Cloud Patrol For iOS Devices, Out Now For £0.69

Activision have announced a new game in the Skylanders franchise. Skylanders Cloud Patrol is a newly released iOS game, for the iPhone, iPad, And iPod Touch, that is exclusive to iTunes. the game is set in a new region that has been overrun by the evil minions or Portal Master, Koas. there are over 30 Skylanders to unlock, players can use the code bundled with each Skylander action figure to add them to the game, you can use codes with magic items too. Players also have the option to purchase in-game currency and build a virtual Skylanders collection.

City Interactive Announce Alien Fear, An Upcoming FPS For XBLA And PS3 PSN

City Interactive have revealed Alien Fear, an upcoming FPS powered by Unreal Engine 3. this shooter is coming to both the PS3 PSN and XBLA. Alien Fear focuses on close quarter combat, you play as a highly trained commando on a mission of sabotage. not much information about the game is revealed, but they do tease some co-op play and a mix of indoor and outdoor locations.

Majesco And Wayforward Announce Double Dragon: Neon, Coming This Summer To XBLA And PS3 PSN

Majesco And Wayforward have announced Double Dragon: Neon. this upcoming Xbox 360 XBLA and PS3 PSN Game is set to come out this summer. Double Dragon: Neon is not a remake of Double Dragon, instead it is a call back to the 80's which see's you up against the Black Dragon Clan's new leader...Skullmageddon. there will be an option to play the game solo, or you can play drop-in drop-out online co-op.

BioWare Announce Mass Effect 3 DLC Reseurgence Pack Comes To PS3 And Xbox 360 On 10th April For Free

EA And BioWare have announced the Resurgence Pack DLC comes to the PS3 and Xbox 360 from 10th April. the USA gets it first on the 10th with EU Consoles getting it on 11th April. this is a multiplayer downloadable content pack that will be free.

The Mass Effect 3: Resurgence Pack includes the following content:

  • Two New Action-Packed Maps – Take the battle to Firebase Condor, a warzone outpost located on one of Palaven's moons and Firebase Hydra, an old abandoned quarian colony which has since been converted into a critical power facility. Each map represents a crucial asset in the overall fight against the Reapers.
  • Six Powerful New Unlockable Characters – Assume the role of new characters for each class, including the Asari Justicar Adept, Krogan Battlemaster Vanguard and characters from new playable races with the Batarian Soldier, Batarian Sentinel, Geth Engineer and Geth Infiltrator.
  • Lethal New Weapons – Obliterate wave after wave of enemies by unlocking the Striker Assault Rifle, Kishock Harpoon Gun andGeth Plasma SMG.
  • New Consumables – Cash in your credits to purchase reinforcement packs that could include the following new consumables:
    • Strength Enhancer – Applies a melee damage boost for one mission
    • Targeting VI – Applies a headshot damage bonus for one mission
    • Stabilization Module – Stabilizes weapons while firing and moving for one mission
    • Shield Power Cells – Shortens the length of time shields take to begin recharging for one mission

Bethesda Announce The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Update 1.5 Is Out Now, Detail Fix For PS3 Water Crash

Bethesda have announced the 1.5 update for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is out now on both PS3 and Xbox 360. Bethesda say there are reports that the PS3 version of the game may have a bug where the game crashes when  your character enters water. Bethesda suggest that PS3 players with this problem should delete the game data and NOT the game sale file.

  • New cinematic kill cameras for projectile weapons and spells
  • New kill moves and animations for melee weapons
  • Smithing skill increases now factor in the created item’s value
  • Improved visual transition when going underwater
  • Improved distance LOD transition for snowy landscapes

  • General crash fixes and memory optimizations
  • Fixed issue with Deflect Arrows perk not calculating properly
  • In “A Cornered Rat,” the death of certain NPCs no longer blocks progression
  • Fixed issue where Farkas would not give Companion’s quests properly
  • Fixed crash when loading saves that rely on data that is no longer being loaded
  • Followers sneak properly when player is sneaking
  • Fixed issue with weapon racks not working properly in Proudspire Manor
  • Arrows and other projectiles that were stuck in objects in the world now clean up properly
  • Fixed issue where “Rescue Mission” was preventing “Taking Care of Business” from starting properly
  • Fixed issue where certain NPCs would fail to become Thieves Guild fences
  • Fixed issue in “Diplomatic Immunity” where killing all the guards in the Thalmor Embassy before starting the quest would break progress
  • In “Hard Answers,” picking up the dwarven museum key after completing the quest, no longer restarts the quest
  • Killing Viola before or after “Blood on the Ice” no longer blocks progression
  • Fixed issue where Calixto would fail to die properly in “Blood on the Ice”
  • In “Waking Nightmare” fixed occasional issue where Erandur would stop pathing properly
  • Fixed issue where letters and notes with random encounters would appear blank
  • Fixed rare issue where dialogue and shouts would improperly play
  • Lydia will now offer marriage option after player purchases Breezehome in Whiterun
  • Fixed issue where if player manually mined ore in Cidhna Mine, jail time would not be served
  • Fixed rare issue with skills not increasing properly
  • Fixed issue where the Headsman’s Axe did not gain proper buff from Barbarian perk
  • In “A Night to Remember” it is no longer possible to kill Ysolda, Ennis or Senna before starting the quest
  • Fixed issue with the ebony dagger having a weapon speed that was too slow
  • Fixed issue with “The Wolf Queen Awakened” where backing out of a conversation with Styrr too soon would block progress
  • The third level of the Limbsplitter perk now properly improves all battle axes
  • Fixed a rare issue where Sanguine Rose would not work properly
  • In “Tending the Flames” King Olaf’s Verse will no longer disappear from explosions
  • Fixed issue with frequency of first person kill cameras
  • Underwater effects now display properly
  • Fixed issue where sun would not appear properly after fast travel
