Square Enix have released a new video for Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII. this is a demonstration of a quest from the game and it's narrated by Yuji Abe, with English subtitles and the in-game action is in English. the video shows how in combat you can change your "job" to perform different attacks and how you need to use this skill as each job needs to recharge. the video shows how you can go into the pause menu and customise which jobs you take into a fight, which equipment you have and even what colour clothes you are wearing.

Square Enix have released new trailers and information about Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy. firstly, they released a full length version of the Tokyo Game Show Trailer. they have also revealed 2 new costumes for Lightning. the first to be revealed was Yuna's costume, from Final Fantasy X, and then they announced Aerith's costume, from Final Fantasy VII, was in the game. both victory songs from the original games are also present with those costumes. Square Enix have also revealed the opening cinematic, showing a meeting and fight sequence between Snow and Lightning.

Square Enix have revealed the Boxart for Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII. they also revealed some pre-order bonuses. no specific retailers have been announced but there are two packs. first up is the Samurai Set.

Currently, i know Amazon UK has Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII and this Pre-Order Bonus. the Lightning Samurai Set consists of 3 different Samurai costumes, each with their own unique abilities and look.

the other pre-order bonus is a steel case edition of Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII that features Cloud Strife's Costume, Buster Sword, Cloud's Victory Pose and Final Fantasy VII Fanfare Music. you can see this pre-order bonus in action in this new Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII trailer.



Square Enix have also released new screenshots for Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII that feature Hope and the Cloud Strife DLC. these screenshots reveal a new location, The Ark. Hope seems to run this building and it seems to act somewhat like a hub where you can re-stock before heading back.

Square Enix have released new screenshots for Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII. these screenshots are from an area called The Dead Dunes. the screenshots show Lightning is looking for treasure in the Dunes and to get through them you can slide down. the screenshots also show 2 of her special abilities, Lightspeed which slows down enemies and recovery spells. to use such abilities you need Energy Points.

Square Enix have released new screenshots and a trailer for Lightning Returns Final Fantasy XIII. the trailer shows in-game action, showing the world and the new combat. a new city was revealed called Luxerion. the city has a train station that links it to the 4 continents of the game world, allowing you travel across the world. the trailer shows how you can interact with objects in the world like poles which help you traverse the world easy. Oh and Lightning only has 13 days!?

The game has evolved from Final Fantasy XIII-2, you have far greater customisation options for Lightning and the battle system is new for Final Fantasy. Square Enix have said that Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII is the concluding chapter for Final Fantasy XIII
