Epic Games and Mozilla have announced Epic Citadel, from Epic Games, is now playable on PC in a web browser for free. no Plug-ins are needed, the game runs using HTML 5 in Firefox Nightly Version 23 or above. Both teams boast that it took just 4 days to port Epic Citadel to Firefox and features:

· Amazing visuals. Through the latest advances in Unreal Engine 3 technology, “Epic Citadel” pushes the envelope for modern game visuals on the Web.
· Realistic reflections and animations. Environment mapping and other high-end rendering techniques produce lifelike reflections, while vertex deformation and skeletal animation bring trees and banners to life with dynamic movements.
· Global illumination. Unreal Engine 3’s built-in global illumination system, Unreal Lightmass, provides realistic lighting and shadows with minimal development resources.

Epic And People Can Fly Reveal Second Gears Of War: Judgement Expansion Comes Out From 23rd April

Epic and People Can Fly have revealed the release date for the second Gears Of War: Judgement expansion. Season Pass holders can get the game from 23rd April, with it becoming available worldwide on 30th April for 1000 MS Points. The Call To Arms Map Pack adds 3 new multiplayer maps, a new mode called Master at Arms, 250 Gamerscore and 6 new armour and gun skins.

New Maps: 
· Terminal: The speed and ferocity of the Locust invasion took Halvo Bay completely by surprise.  Residents scrambled to evacuate by every means possible, and COG forces were called in to maintain order as martial law was enforced.  However, the Locust showed no mercy, and gave no quarter; they swept through train terminals like this one to take advantage of the close quarters and sheer number of defenceless humans trapped within its walls.  Sometimes, COG forces could hold the line long enough for a final evacuation, but too many lost their lives in defence of the people and the land they loved.

· Blood Drive: As casualties started to mount, the staff at Halvo Memorial quickly began what would become the largest triage effort in the history of Sera.  Their “Give Blood Today” campaign inspired a global blood drive in support of COG forces and wounded civilians.  Sadly, Halvo fell quickly, and the hospital became a battlefront instead of a sanctuary.  The seed of hope was planted, however, and government-run Memorial hospitals across the country mobilised to keep the effort alive until Jacinto Memorial was the last standing bastion of hope for the people of Sera.

·  Boneyard: The concept of traditional memorial services had to be suspended due to the constant stream and alarming volume of casualties as Sera fell victim to the Locust Horde.  Memorial grounds quickly became boneyards.  Unmarked holes became grave sites and mausoleums were filled with the nameless remains of the fallen, their skeletons piled into heaps.  Tread lightly, you never know what, or who, you’re walking on, and one day you’re bound to join them.

Epic have announced a new Gears Of War game is coming to the Xbox 360. Gears Of War: Judgement is a prequel set after the Emergence Day. the game centres on Kilo Squad, a troop of soldiers led by Damon Baird and Augustus “The Cole Train” Cole. the game can be played single player or with up to 4 players co-operatively. a first for the series is a Mission Declassification system that provides more challenging gameplay scenarios by unlocking critical information.

Microsoft have detailed the UK Gears Of War 3 Beta. The Beta Dates Are:

·Bulletstorm Preview, 18 – 24 April
Owners of “Bulletstorm: Epic Edition” are eligible for a one-week beta preview period featuring the new Team Deathmatch mode on four new maps (Thrashball, Checkout, Trenches and Old Town).

·Gears of War 3 Beta, 25 April – 15 May
The full public beta period begins 25 April. Players can look forward to special events and playlists throughout the beta period. Two additional competitive game modes, Capture the Leader and King of the Hill, will be added during the final week of the beta.

·15 May
Beta concludes.

If you pre-order Gears Of War 3 at GAME or Gamestation you will gain access to the beta that starts on 25th April right through to 15th May.

By Playing in the Beta, there are several in-game unlockables for the retail version of Gears Of War 3 when it comes out on 20th September. the unlockables are:
