Press Release
Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc. today revealed new screenshots from the upcoming action puzzle game, Gormiti: The Lords of Nature! for Nintendo Wii and DS. Based on the popular European toy and TV franchise now airing on the Cartoon Network, the all-new screens will give gamers a first look at the Gormiti video game debut with new characters, special attack moves, beautiful environments and more.
Gamers begin their adventure with Razzle, a character shuttled to the ‘Island of Gorm’ when he knocks over old books in a library and opens a portal to another world. Razzle and his books land in the midst of vast armies trapped in a never-ending battle driven by the elemental forces of nature. At the heart of this battle, the evil Lava Gormiti, Magmion, learns of five sacred amulets that will open an inter-dimensional portal to Earth once united. It is the task of The Lords of Nature, Earth, Sea, Air and Forest, to keep Magmion from succeeding and reaching Earth. The game also showcases numerous landmarks from the television series with full story and arcade modes and two-player co-op play on the Wii. Players will utilize the skills of the Lords of Nature by unleashing ‘Super’ attacks and powerful long-ranges moves as they battle Magmion’s minions. Each Lord will
have to be released at the right time to take advantage of their various skills and strengths in battle. The gameplay will constantly challenge players with jigsaw and sliding tile puzzle games where players must collect and assemble pieces relating to each character in order to build an interactive 3D image.
All-new Wii screenshots will highlight powerful attacks and special moves dealt by the Lords of Nature, in addition to views of the Earth region of the Island of Gorm. DS screenshots feature action and environments from the Forest and Sea regions of the Island of Gorm.
