GigaMedia have revealed that theri IAHGames operation has partnered with Blizzard Entertainment to bring StarCraft II: Wings Of Liberty to Southeast Asia. GigaMedia expects the Southeast Asia market to grow significantly and this partnership with Blizzard puts them in a great position to capture this growth. There will also be local servers for the game as well as local support in Southeast Asia, a first according to them.

StarCraft(R) II: Wings of Liberty(TM) is the highly anticipated sequel to Blizzard Entertainment's 1998 hit StarCraft, which has been hailed by players and critics worldwide as one of the top real-time strategy games of all time; the game will be available on July 27, 2010.
