Sony Reveal The New EU PS Vita And PS Vita 8GB Memory Card Game Bundles

Sony have revealed a new 8GB PS Vita Memory Card Bundle and a new PS Vita Wi-fi Bundle. you can buy the 8GB memory card separately for €39.99 and get codes to download the 10 bundled games or you can buy the Vita and Memory card together for €249.99 and then download the 10 free games. to get the free games you have to be registered to the PSN. these bundles will be out starting from now, with more countries in Europe getting them as the week progresses.

Sony Announce WipEout HD And WipEout HD Fury Expansion Packs Hit PS Vita From Today, Free For PS3 DLC Owners

Sony have announced the WipEout HD And WipEout HD Fury Expansion packs are coming out for the PS Vita version of Wipeout 2048 from today in the USA and tomorrow across Europe. these packs also bring Cross play between PS3 and PSV to the vita, these packs are available as:

Wipeout HD €7.99/£6.49/$7.99
Includes 12 tracks, and 8 reverse tracks, 12 ships plus a Zone Mode Ship and cross play with the PS3 game.

Wipeout HD Fury €7.99/£6.49/$7.99
includes a new single player campaign, 12 tracks including 4 reverse tracks, 4 Zone Mode Tracks, and 24 ships. this also features cross play with the PS3.

Sony Have Released A New Game Trailer And Detailed Different Ship Classes In Wipeout 2048

Sony have released a new game trailer for Wipeout 2048. this trailer uses in-game action to show many of the different ships, tracks, and game modes. the trailer also shows some of the touch controls.

Sony have also detailed the different ship classes in the game. the screenshots show how each class changes the look of a ship. the Speed Ships are delta winged shaped but lack heavy weapon and defensive systems. Speed Class ships are best for Time Trials and Speed Laps. Agility ships have great handling and manoeuvrability and are great for Zone Mode. Fighter Class are tough but loose out on speed and manoeuvrability.

Sony have teased a forth class, the Prototype Class, but won't detail what they are good for, instead letting players discover them.

Sony have been talking about the cross platform potential between the PS3 and PS Vita. this video shows some of this in action.



Sony have now detailed the first batch of PS Vita games that benefit from buying content on the PS3.

Vodafone Reveal UK PS Vita Data Plan, £5 A Month For 250mb. Reveal £279 + 4GB PSV Bundle, And Wipeout 2048

Vodafone have revealed their UK data plans for the PS Vita. for £5, users get 250mb a month. Vodafone have also confirmed users who top up their 3G+Wifi PS Vita when it comes out will also get Wipeout 2048 for free. The video below shows the PS Vita being unboxed and it also discusses a Vodafone deal. You can buy the PS Vita at a Vodafone shop for £279 and get a 4GB memory card for free.

Sony have released a new Inside PS Vita video. this video focuses on Cross play between the Vita and PS3. The Wipeout 2048 example shown is playing online against Wipeout PS3 players. Hustle Kings is another game that takes advantage of this where you can play against another player on a PS3. Remote Play is also talked about, where you can control your PS3 via your Vita. another possibility is playing a game on the PS3 and using the PS Vita to show something else from the game, like a worldmap.

Sony Announce Vodafone Is The Preferred Provider Of 3G For The PSV In The UK, Get Wipeout 2048 For Free

Sony have announced a partnership with Vodafone that sees Vodafone as the preferred provider of 3G connectivity for the Playstation Vita. The 3G version of the PSV will come with a Vodafone Sim Card, and it can be bought online or in stores from Vodafone. Vodafone will announce later tarrifs for 3G on the PSV. Sony have confirmed the PSV won't be locked to Vodafone, other networks can be used. the reason for choosing Vodafone, according to Sony, is because 

"we have fully tested PS Vita’s features on their service and therefore can assure a great 3G service right from the off. We haven’t tested with other providers’ services and therefore can’t give the same quality assurances."

Sony have announced gamers who connect to Vodafone with their PSV will get a voucher to download Wipeout 2048 from the PSN For free.

Sony have released new screenshots and a trailer for WipEout 2048. the trailer shows many of the features in the game, like the tracks, multiplayer with the PS3, and the announcement of AR Rewards. the screenshots show many of the different ships in the game.

Sony Announce WipEout 2048 For The NGP

Sony have announced WipEout 2048 for the NGP. chronologically, WipEout 2048 will become the first game in the series and the look of the world will be more near future than in previous games. both Sony blogs have different interviews with the game. the first interview is more indepth over when the game is set, the look, and stuff like track changes. the second video shows more in-game action and talks about the different ways of controlling the ships, either with traditional controls or with tilt and touch. 

both videos show how the game uses other aspects of the NGP hardware, with an Augmented reality museum, pictures being taken, and voice controls. What is also highlighted is the cross platform multiplayer mode. online mutliplayer between the NGP game and the PS3 Game, WipEout HD Fury, is now possible.
