Konami have announced they have released a patch for the PS3 version of Silent Hill: Downpour. this patch improves features and fixes bugs. Konami have provided a couple of examples of the fixes the patch brings:

• Improved frame rate
• Fixed save game system
• Fixed bugs in "Homeless" side quest/mission
• Several other performance enhancements/bug fixes

Konami have announced a new patch for the Xbox 360 version of Silent Hill: Downpour. this patch brings the following:

Konami have announced they are currently working on patches for both Silent Hill Downpour and Silent Hill HD Collection. the Silent Hill HD Patch aims to fix the frame rate and Audio Synching issues in the game. the Silent Hill Downpour patch aims to fix the Auto-Save issues. Konami have announced that in addition to the song "Silent Hill" from Jonathan Davis, the front-man to Korn, Daniel Licht has composed the score to Silent Hill: Downpour. Daniel reveals he has used a variety of instruments including Piano, Mandolin, and industrial sounds that help to augment and amplify the mood of Silent Hill: Downpour.
