Sega Reveals Project Needlemouse Is Sonic The Hedgehog 4

Sega has revealed that Project Needlemouse is Sonic The Hedgehog 4: Episode 1.
Sega have also launched a new website for Sonic The hedgehog 4 that has many countdown timers on it for when new content will be uploaded to the site.
The Début trailer for Sonic The Hedgehog 4 shows the evolution of 2D sonic from Sonic 1 to Sonic 4 as well as a brief bit of gameplay from the first level of the game, as well as some enemies.
The Trailer and website both reveal the game is coming to XBLA, WiiWare, PSN, and another platform that has yet to be revealed.
A Release date of Summer 2010 was revealed at the end of the trailer.

Sega Celebrates "Hedgehog Day" By Releasing New Concept Art And Music For Project Needlemouse

In celebration of "Hedgehog Day", celebrating the release of Sonic The Hedgehog 3, Sega has released two new pieces of concept art from project Needlemouse, which can been seen below. These pieces are from the first level in the game.
Sega also released the first few seconds of music from Project Needlemouse. if you head here, you can hear the 16 bit inspired tune.

Sega will reveal the name of Project Needlemouse on Thursday.

Sega Reveal The Project Needlemouse Challenge 2 Has Been Bested in Just 48 Hours

Sega Recently Announced a new Project Needlemouse community challenge. In Return for over 100 user submitted concept art of enemies people wanted to see in the Project Needlemouse, Sega would reveal the name of Project Needlemouse, release Concept Art from the first zone, and a bonus.

Sega Have announced that this community challenge was completed in less than 48 hours and by Friday there were over 350+ submissions. because of the huge community response, on Tuesday Sega will have a giveaway of Swag. also, for every 50 extra pieces of concept art submitted, Sega will give away 1 extra piece of Sonic Merchandise.

Sega have revealed the next Project Needlemouse Community challenge as well as releasing new concept art for a enemy that will appear in the upcoming Project Needlemouse game.

Sega's Community Challenge Two asks fans to submit over 100 pieces of Concept Art of enemies they want to see in Project Needlemouse. if there are over 100 pieces submitted, Sega will reveal the name of Project Needlemouse, release Concept Art from the first zone, and a bonus. Submissions have to be in by Monday and Sega say this will be the last Community Challenge for Project Needlemouse.
