Nintendo Announce UK Pokémon Black 2 And White 2 Owners Can Now Get Deoxys As A Free Downloadable Pokémon

Nintendo have announced Pokémon Black 2 and Pokémon White 2 owners can now get Dexoys in their games via a character distribution event. this event is running now. To participate in the Deoxys character distribution event beginning May 8 via the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection service, players will need:

• Wireless broadband Internet access
• A Nintendo DS, Nintendo DSi, Nintendo DSi XL, Nintendo 3DS, or Nintendo 3DS XL system
• A copy of the Pokémon Black 2 or Pokémon White 2 game
• No more than 11 Wonder Cards in their possession

Nintendo have also announced Pokémon The Card Game players can also get Deoxys as a Deoxys-EX Card in the new Freeze Expansion packs which are out now. Players who pick up Black & White — Plasma Freeze can look forward to a host of other features, including:

• Team Plasma cards—A unique blue border and Team Plasma shield adorn each Team Plasma card.
• Six new Pokémon-EX cards and six full-art Pokémon-EX rare Ultra cards—New Pokémon-EX cards include Deoxys-EX, Thundurus-EX, Latios-EX, and Latias-EX.
• Two new ACE SPEC cards—Incredibly powerful Trainer cards. Only one ACE SPECcard is allowed in each player’s deck.

The Pokémon Company Announce UK Pokémon Black 2/White 2 Event, Starting 22nd March Get Meloetta From GAME Stores

The Pokémon Company have announced they will be running a Pokémon Black 2 and Pokémon White 2 Event In The UK. Starting on 22nd March and running for 4 weeks, Gamers can go to participating GAME Stores and get Meloetta. Players will get a lvl 50 Meloetta, pictures above, who can change in battle from Normal and Psychic type to it's Pirouette Forme, Pictured below, a Normal and Fighting type.

Also on 22nd March, The Pokémon Company will also release a password that will add Meloetta to Pokédex 3D Pro and  Pokédex on iOS.

Nintendo Have Released Photographs From Their Pokémon Black 2/White 2 And New Super Mario Bros. 2 Events At New York ComicCon

At this years New York ComicCon, Nintendo held events for Pokémon Black 2/White 2 And New Super Mario Bros. 2. the Pokémon event was the games launch Party and the New Super Mario Bros. 2 Event was a gameplay tournament. Nintendo Announce Pokémon Black 2/White 2 Gamers Can Get Genesect From 7th October Till 12th November

Nintendo have announced a Genesect event for USA Pokémon Black 2 and Pokémon White 2 owners. from 7th October until 12th November, owners will be able to use Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection to receive Genesect. Genesect will be available from 12th October in the UK and across the EU and will only be available until 12th November. Genesect is a Steel/Bug type that features a signature move called Techno Blast, and is currently the only Pokémon with this move.

GAME have announced that all their GAME Stores will be participating in the upcoming UK Keldeo event for Pokémon Black and Pokémon White. this event lets players download Keldeo into their game, and Keldeo can then be later uploaded into Pokémon Black 2 and Pokémon White 2. The Keldeo Event starts on 1st September

Nintendo Announce Pokémon Black And White 2 Come To The USA On 7th October And UK On 12th October

Nintendo And The Pokémon Company have revealed the UK And USA Release dates for both Pokémon Black 2 and Pokémon White 2. the game will come out first across the USA on 7th October and then across the UK on 12th October. Pokémon Dream Radar will also come out on the 7th and 12th on the 3DS eShop.

The Pokémon Company Have Released The Japanese Opening Anime To Pokémon Black 2/White 2

The Pokémon Company have released the opening Anime to Pokémon Black 2 and Pokémon White 2 on the DS. unlike previous games, the opening movie is based on the Pokémon cartoon/anime. it's all in Japanese and i don't know enough to translate it, but the main highlights shown in this video are the addition of Pokémon from other games, the new characters, Team Plasma, The Shadow Triad, and Bianca, Cheren, N and Elesa.

Nintendo Announce Pokémon Dream Radar And Pokédex 3D Pro For The 3DS eShop, Release New Unova Map

The Map above is Unova from Pokémon Black 2 and Pokémon White 2. interestingly, under the ice you can just make out landmarks which leads me to suspect that the ice may recede later in the game.

 Nintendo have announced Pokédex 3D Pro for the 3DS. it will be an upgrade option for those who have the original free Pokédex 3D app on the 3DS. this Pro version includes over 600 Pokémon, indepth sorting, and comprehensive details on what abilities each Pokémon can learn. all known Pokémon are unlocked from the start. This app will be coming to the eShop, but no release date or price was announced.

Nintendo also announced Pokémon Dream Radar, another eShop Pokémon App coming later to the 3DS. This AR game lets you catch Pokémon around you that can then be transferred into Pokémon Black 2 and Pokémon White 2. the Radar will include some rare hard to get Pokémon. Nintendo haven't revealed a price yet for Pokémon Dream Radar.

CoroCoro's May Issue Reveals Pokémon Black/White 2 Details, Unova Covered In Ice, New Towns, New Leaders And More

The May issue of CoroCoro has come out in Japan and it has revealed several new details on the upcoming Pokémon Black 2 and Pokémon White 2 games. The moves of Black Kyurem( Freeze Shock) and White Kyurem (Ice Burn) do seem to revolve around the ice theme and as you'll see this could be important to the situation Unova finds itself in.

other details are a bit light, but i have broken down the big news below.

New Characters!

These two are the new starting player characters (no names as yet)

This guy is your new rival, focuses on a Pokémon's Strength (No Name as yet)

This is a new Gym Leader called Homika. She's a Poison Type User.

This is another new Gym Leader. Shizui is a water type user.

And finally we have Akuroma, a Pokémon researcher, researching Pokémon Strength

New Locations!

This is Hiougi City, the new starting location in the game.

Those pictures tease the big change to Unova. nearly half of the region is covered in a glacier. this means that there are several new locations, towns gone, and tunnels. Opelucid City is on the border of this glacier, the road between Castelia City and Nimbasa City is complete. there is now a settlement on route 4. places gone include Driftveil City's lighthouse, construction zone, and cold storage.

New  Pokémon?

That picture shows there are some favourites returning to the game. in the original Pokémon Black and White games there were only 156 Unova Pokémon, but now there are 300 available in Pokémon Black and White 2. no new Pokémon were announced, but the inclusion of Eevee is interesting and could tease a new Eevelution.

Game Freak Announce Pokémon Black Version 2 And Pokémon White Version 2 For The DS, Coming To Japan In June

Game Freak have announced Pokémon Black Version 2 And Pokémon White Version 2 for the Nintendo DS. details are scarce, all that is known so far is that the game is coming out in Japan this June. Pokémon Black Version 2 And Pokémon White Version 2 appear to be direct sequels to Pokémon Black And Pokémon White, the first direct sequel to any main Pokémon games.

having sequels to main Pokémon games is a strange move. a new Nintendo handheld typically means a new Pokémon TV series and then a new Pokémon game. Pokémon Black And White was released late on the DS and the current TV series is progressing fast. the logical move would have been to release a new 3DS main Pokémon game.

having a sequel on the DS leads me to speculate the 3DS game, if one existed of course, might have been delayed when the 3DS was having problems and Pokémon Black Version 2 And Pokémon White Version 2 was designed to be a stop gap to take advantage of existing DS owners and 3DS owners. If a new Pokémon game is coming to the 3DS, i expect it to come out by mid 2013.
