Dark Energy Digital have announced they are bringing Hydrophobia Prophecy to the Playstation 3 PSN. the game is set to come out in the USA on 1st November and the 2nd November across the EU. the game is set to cost $7.99 / £5.10, but the game will be free for 5 weeks for Playstation Plus subscribers. a new feature for the PS3 version of the game, the game is already available on the Xbox 360 XBLA, is Playstation Move support.

Dark Energy Digital is delighted to announce that its new Darknet developer feedback system has exceeded its most optimistic expectations. Darknet launched in Hydrophobia Prophecy on Steam last week, and thousands of players have since submitted their feedback using the system, which automatically uploads contextual data for Dark Energy to analyse.

"We were expecting a slow burn with Darknet, so when we switched on InfiniteWorlds the day after launch and the whole game map lit up like a Christmas tree, we were really surprised. Dark Energy developers are now busy analyzing the data by actually playing through the game with real gamers feedback appearing as icons tagged throughout the world.

“It’s a mind blowing experience to play back through the game you created and see what the community thinks about the different elements. You see clusters of positive responses around cool moments and you can analyse the map area by area to see which are most popular. But the main idea of course is to actively improve the game, and this is already happening. Thanks to Steam Cloud we’ve already delivered several micro updates to address frustrations flagged up by Darknet, such as adding extra checkpoints to alleviate concentrations of frustration data points.”

Dark Energy has big plans for Darknet and are already listening to the community about the features they want to see added in future.

Dark Energy Digital have announce Hydrophobia Prophecy for Playstation 3 PSN and Steam. Hydrophobia Prophecy is a reinvention of Hydrophobia, previously released on Xbox 360. Hydrophobia Prophecy will include upgraded graphics, new gameplay mechanics, new levels, reworked backstory, new ending, and new voice acting. these changes came about after Dark Energy Digital listened to the fan response to Hydrophobia and then the Pure update and decided to improve the game even further. Hydrophobia Prophecy comes out on Steam on 9th May for $10.19/£7.64 and the PSN release will follow afterwards.
