Science

- Lucky Last (5500 Coins) - Your final spin token is forged from fortunium, the world's luckiest element.

And here is LOS ANGELES – June 6, 2011 – Dust off your black mask and start sharpening your sword — Halfbrick today announced Fruit Ninja Kinect, an all-new console iteration of its smash hit mobile game Fruit Ninja. Fruit Ninja Kinect will be featured as part of Microsoft’s fan favorite Summer of Arcade promotion, and available via download from Xbox LIVE Arcade. The game is scheduled to be released exclusively for the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft later this summer .
Fruit Ninja Kinect takes all the frenzied fruit slicing action of the highly popular and addictive mobile game and brings it full scale as players trade in finger chops for full body motion slicing, swinging their arms to cut through an endless cascade of flying fruits while trying to avoid dangerous bombs.
“Fruit Ninja Kinect is perfect for the Kinect system,” said Phil Larsen, marketing director of Halfbrick. “Not only is the game intuitive, challenging and fun, it’s even a bit of a workout. With the added bonuses of being able to play side-by-side another player and compare scores on the XBLA leaderboards, we’re really taking the Fruit Ninja experience to a whole new level.”
Following the simple yet addictive mechanics that made Fruit Ninja such a breakout success on mobile devices, Fruit Ninja Kinect stays true to the spirit of the beloved title while expanding players’ experience with new gameplay modes and unlockable content.
There are three single player modes: slice for the highest score while avoiding bombs in Classic Mode, serenely slice through 90 seconds of Zen Mode, or throw intense power-ups into the mayhem with Arcade Mode. Fruit Ninja Kinect alsoadds local multiplayer so Fruit Ninjas can slice side-by-side in pursuit of unlockable blades, backgrounds, avatar shadows and Achievements that only the quickest ninjas will conquer. True masters of fruit ninjutsu searching the lands for a worthy opponent can climb the online leaderboards, but only ninjas able to decimate the mysterious pomegranate—a rare fruit that players can attack furiously in bullet-time—will claim the highest scores.
With more than 25 million downloads worldwide on mobile devices and top sales chart rankings in more than 60 countries, Fruit Ninja is already an international sensation, and the Kinect version adds a whole new dimension to the frenzy.
Halfbrick will be showcasing Fruit Ninja Kinect, Fruit Ninja Frenzy and Machine Gun Jetpack in its media-only demo suite during the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3), June 7-9, at the Los Angeles Convention Center in meeting room No. 505, above the West Hall.
Fruit Ninja Kinect will be available for digital download exclusively from the Xbox LIVE Arcade service for the Xbox 360 later this summer as part of Microsoft’s Summer of Arcade promotion.

Halfbrick Announce Fruit Ninja Has Sold 2 Million Copies On iPhone
Halfbrick have announced that Fruit Ninja has sold over 2 Million Copies on the iPhone in 6 months. the game reached 1 Million copies sold in 3 months, and then sold another 1 million copies again in 3 months. Halfbrick have also released some stats from the game, Total Fruit Sliced Worldwide - 24,342,983,809, Average Classic Mode High Score - 196.60, and Average Zen Mode High Score – 194.68.
Press Release
September 23rd, 2010 – Approximately 3 months ago, we made the announcement that Fruit Ninja had surpassed one million copies sold on iPhone. One million sold is an extraordinary achievement for any game on any platform, but everyone at Halfbrick is simply ecstatic to do it again with the same game in the same amount of time.
Fruit Ninja surpassed one million in 74 days, and reaching the second million from that point only took an additional 78 days. It’s on a roll, and Halfbrick has the entire world to thank for their incredible support of the simplest and most satisfying iPhone game on the App store.
Since release, we have also created a brand new website and blog to keep Halfbrick fans in the loop about all our major releases. Simple head towww.halfbrick.com and sign up to the RSS feed for regular updates!
To celebrate the two million, we did some digging. Some Holmes-like research. Here’s some pretty astonishing statistics to munch on while you slice up your next game!
Total Fruit Sliced, Worldwide - 24,342,983,809. That’s 24 BILLION. Extrapolating from that data, we can conclude that over 10 million tonnes of fruit have been sliced around the world. Let’s hope that it all fell into a giant juicing machine to create sweet, nutritious drinks for kids around the world as they go about their studies. Knowledge = Ninja Power, kids!
Average Classic Mode High Score - 196.60 – We hear daily reports of players unable to crack 200, but for the trained Fruit Ninja elite, it’s not uncommon to regularly achieve scores of twice that amount.
Average Zen Mode High Score – 194.68 – There is a physical limit to the achievable score in Zen Mode due to the timer, but 194 for an average is impressively high. A seasoned player may only score 220 – 230 on a regular basis, so 194 on average makes the Halfbrick team incredibly proud of its ninja apprentices!
