Codemasters Have Released New Videos For GRID 2 Showing Live Routes And Gameplay From Several Tracks

Codemasters have released several new videos for GRID 2. the first video highlights the LiveRoutes feature of the game. this new system can dynamically change the course of a track on the fly. the tracks which feature LiveRoutes are Paris, Barcelona, Chicago, Miami and Dubai.

The other videos, in order, are gameplay videos from Indianapolis and Paris, a video showing Overtakes and Time Attacks, and gameplay videos for Cote D'Azur, Brands Hatch and the Algarve.

Codemasters have confirmed Grid 2 comes out on 31st May across the UK on PS3, Xbox 360 and PC. they have also released the debut game play trailer that shows street racing in Paris, track racing at Red Bull Ring and Head to Head racing on the California Coast.

Namco Bandai To Publish Major Codemasters Titles Across Europe And Australasia, First Title Will Be Grid 2

Namco Bandai and Codemasters have announced they are extending the publishing agreement between the two companies. the original agreement started back in 2010 and saw Namco Bandai release games in a few territories. this expanded partnership means that Namco Bandai will publish major Codemasters titles across the EU and Australasia. the first game released under this new expanded partnership will be Grid 2, with future unannounced games on the Codemasters Racing label also included (most likely F1 2013).

Codemasters have announced GRID 2 comes out across the UK on PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 on 31st May.

Codemasters have also detailed the Special Editions for GRID 2. they consist of extra content DLC which includes:

McLaren Racing Pack: Receive the exclusive McLaren MP4-12C GT3 Special Edition car to race in single-player, multiplayer and a special online event; plus expand the game with two new routes around the Brands Hatch GP circuit.

Head Start Pack: Receive the exclusive Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren 722 GT car to race in single-player, multiplayer and enjoy discounts in the Car Upgrades Store in online game modes and a unique RaceNet bonus.

Gamers who pre-order at GAME will get those 2 packs as well as the Brands Hatch citcuit when they get the Brands Hatch version of GRID 2.

Codemasters have announced they are partnering with Xbox 360 Achievements And PS3 Trophies to create to create the Achievement and Trophy list for Grid 2. the two sites will work with the designers at Codemasters to create a list that will compliment the game and it's strengths. Grid 2 is set to come out in Summer 2013 whilst Xbox360Achievements.org and PS3Trophies.org will have videos and more information about the process behind createing the lists of Achievement and Trophys.
