Feral Interactive have announced they are bringing Codemasters' F1 2012 to Macs this year. F1 2012 is the first F1 game to be released on Macs in over 10 years. it features all teams, drivers and circuits from this season. specific hardware requirements were not detailed, but the game will support Splt Screen multiplayer, LAN Multiplayer and Online Multiplayer.

Codemasters have announced a demo for F1 2012 comes out on PS3, Xbox 360 and PC this week, ahead of the games release on 21st September. the demo comes with 2 features, the Young Drivers Test which is the games tutorial, and Season Challenge lets drivers choose a rival to race against in Monza. Codemasters Announce Champions Mode For F1 2012, Take On 6 F1 Champions In Race Scenarios

Codemasters have announced a new mode in F1 2012. this mode is called Champions Mode and in it you will face off against each of the F1 champions currently competing in the F1 Championship. this mode is designed for quick play and instant action and this will be shown off at GamesCom.

Codemasters have provided the following example for Champions Mode:
The Kimi Räikkönen challenge sees the player join a race as Kimi’s teammate at Spa Francorchamps. The player has just pitted and is on new tyres while the rest of the pack is on worn rubber with three laps to go until the end of the race. In order to complete the scenario the player has to race through the pack and overtake Kimi before the end of the race.
