Ninja Theory always aim for believable characters and a good story, and this video shows that they hired a screen writer, Alex Garland, to give the story a movie feel but that they also hired Andy Serkis to make the characters human. Ninja Theory discuss how they took the Journey To The West Story and made it into Enslaved: Odyssey To The West.

Namco Bandai have released the E3 2010 trailer for Ninja Theory's Enslaved: Odyssey To The West. this trailer reveals some of the back story of the game, the connection between the two main characters, and it also shows in-game footage from the game as well as some in-game cutscenes.
Namco Bandai Have Released new screenshots and character art for the upcoming Enslaved: Odyssey To The West game. The Character art shows Monkey and Trip alone and together. there is also character art for a couple of the enemies in the game and a Robot dog that you come across early-ish in the game. The screenshots that Namco Bandai have released are in-game and show Monkey climbing around the environment, similar to Nathan Drake in Uncharted, as well as the environment itself. the other screenshots show Monkey tackling enemies and carrying Trip whilst avoiding the Robot Dog.
