CD Projekt RED have released new screenshots and information about The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. the game features decisions that impact the game in such a way that it could take several play throughs to see them all. the environments in The Witcher 3 are 30 times larger than those in The Witcher 2 and diverse. the setting also changes depending on your actions in the game, those includes Geralt's personal storyline and local plot lines in each land you visit. this non-linear approach to the game makes it unique to your experience, one that can take 50 hours to play through in your first go, with another 50 hours worth to see in other play throughs. The Screenshots show the islands of Skellige and are from an early in the games development.

CD Projeckt RED Announce The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Is Coming To The PlayStation 4

CD Project RED have confirmed that The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is coming to the PlayStation 4. this is the final game in the Witcher series. CD Projeckt Red have revealed it was Sony who approached them first about being a developer for the PlayStation 4, being one of the first studios who were given a dev kit. They say the PlayStation 4 allows them to push their REDengine 3 to graphical limits.

The Witcher 3 is not a PlayStation 4 exclusive as it'll be coming out on all high end platforms in 2014.

CD Projekt RED have also revealed some story details, the world is full of technologies that have become both the salvation and curse of humanity. the story is non-linear and has many different threads. it's aimed at mature players and it takes place in a metropolis called Night City, and its surroundings. The game will feature places from Cyberpunk 2020, a famous pen and paper game, as well as mechanics and ideas.

CD Projekt have announced they are currently developing a new triple A RPG based on enowned pen-and-paper-RPG designer Mike Pondsmith's Cyberpunk system. CD Projekt have said that this game would still have the hallmarks their CD Projekt Red Studios are known for with the Witcher Series.

the Steampunk RPG will be aimed towards mature and demanding players, it'll be non-linear, detailed, and have a complex story. there will be different classes and characters from each, ranging from hackers to mercenaries. players will also be faced with choices and actions that will affect the world around them.
