Story
Wasteland worries
Colour, adventure, suspicion and a big
dollop of Disney magic collide in Disney Epic Mickey 2: The Power of
Two, when Mickey Mouse is called into action to save the weird world
known as Wasteland. Armed with an enchanted paintbrush and a
bucketful of paint, you'll help Mickey create a gloriously gloopy
mess on your PS Vita
Forgotten Disney characters have made Wasteland their home. It was a happy place, full of balloons, higgledy-piggledy houses, clanking contraptions and the carefree 'toons themselves. Happy, that is, until the Mad Doctor came along. The balloons were all popped, the clanking contraptions cranked to a halt. Earthquakes shook those higgledy-piggledy houses and scared all the 'toons.
But after causing all that trouble, the Mad Doctor says he's changed. He wants to help the 'toons make things right again and bring the fun back to Wasteland. Joined by Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, Mickey decides to get to the bottom of this change of heart in an exciting adventure that will restore life to Wasteland and save it from a new danger.

Presentation
Disney's history sparkles
Disney fans of all ages will find a
treasure trove of rare characters, vintage cartoons and some of the
early designs for the unforgettable world of Wasteland. The famous
animation studio's rich history can be glimpsed in almost every part
of Disney Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two, making it feel as much a
collector's item as a thrill-a-moment game.
Beyond every projector screen and under each manhole cover is a new level or area presented in a different way. By the time you've completed a challenge, you may have watched Mickey star in some of Disney's earliest films, switched from an open world adventure to a classic platformer or watched cutscenes featuring an inked visual style and show-stopping tunes. You'll even guide Mickey and Oswald through levels based on groundbreaking short films. One of the earliest is the creepy "The Skeleton Dance" – and there are lots more gems where that came from.

Gameplay
Unleash the power of the brush
Everybody knows Mickey Mouse, yet
what's less well known is that your PS Vita transforms him from a
cartoon icon into an artistic hero. Use front touch to help Mickey
splash coloured paint all over Wasteland, restoring it to its former
glory, and tilt your PS Vita to steer Mickey’s car in racing
mode.
Thinners, on the other hand, erase bits of the world to open up new passages and hidden treasures. Look out for parts of walls, fences, crates and other objects that seem a little too clean to be true – there has just been a huge earthquake, after all – and aim your paintbrush at them. There's always a mischievous scheme to foil, yet you'll have plenty of time to search each area for its many secrets.
Follow a friendly gremlin named Gus through Wasteland to close in on the Mad Doctor's real intentions and along the way you'll help citizens out with odd jobs. Roving reporter Adelle wants eye-catching snaps taken on your PS Vita from official Picture Spots, for instance. Yen Sid, Mickey's mentor in "The Sorcerer's Apprentice", needs his lab decorating. And Gus asks you to rescue his gremlin brothers.
Discover famous costumes, collect rare film reels and much more besides. That's if you have the energy after battling giant mechanical dragons, thinners-spitting monsters and a man in a white coat who isn't all he seems.

Multiplayer
Ears to you, kid
Always at Mickey's side on the journey
through Wasteland is Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, one of Disney's
earliest creations and the first of the forgotten characters to move
into this strange, alternative version of Disneyland. Team up with a
friend, and Mickey and Oswald will join forces to bring colour back
to Wasteland in a WiFi co-op mode exclusive to the PS Vita.
While Mickey is armed with paint and thinners, Oswald uses a specially modified remote control to zap gizmos into life and shock enemies. Hidden throughout Wasteland are control panels for everything from giant paint mixers to rickety lifts and shields imprisoning Gus's gremlin friends. As Mickey, you can splash the panels with paint to reveal them, while Oswald's remote control will spark them into action.
Enemies such as the Beetleworx, the mechanical creatures stomping around town, need a little bit of clever teamwork to be defeated. Mickey will often need to act as a decoy, distracting a monster while Oswald's remote control recharges. Then, a quick jolt of electricity stuns the creature letting Mickey pound him into a pile of nuts and bolts.
Oswald can also spin his giant ears like a helicopter's rotor blades to carry Mickey across gaps, or boost his partner up to reach high ledges. The many challenges of Wasteland will prove no match for the power of two.
