Europe Ltd. and SEGA® of America today announced the launch
of Godsrule: War of Mortals, the free-to-play,
cross-platform build and battle game, is now available on iPad®.
Offering a shared play experience, the new iPad version will
feature full cross-platform play with the current service available
on browser. Developed in partnership with
Icelandic studio Gogogic ehf., Godsrule: War of
Mortals is a multiplayer combat strategy game with a city building
element that can be enjoyed by new and expert gamers alike.
Set in a lush
fantasy world where an epic war has broken out between the Old and
New Gods, Godsrule: War of Mortals creates a completely immersive and
intense experience for fans by allowing players to choose sides and
fight for their clan. Featuring 20 fierce battle units, gamers can
compete solo or play cooperatively to train advanced spells and
units, complete quests, build skills and receive valuable rewards –
with everyone on a quest for domination of Midrealms.

Godsrule: War of
Mortals provides a variety of melee and range units with spell
options that directly affect strategy and planning. Building the
craft tower in the village allows players to customise strategy
changing the effects of their armies’ abilities and spell affects.
The strategic depth is endless with multiple customisation options to
balance a unit’s strengths. There’s an advantage to being on the
winning team as gamers get bonus resources, access to elite units and
spells when a territory is controlled by a players’ faction and
even more for their clan. Players can build up their town with a
lumber mill, trade posts and more to process valuable resources in
order to make deals with other and stake their claim as a merchant
lord.
The Godsrule world
will continue to expand with new spells, battle units and more
opportunities for support and combat tactics. Additionally, new solo
battle scenarios will help online rulers advance their tactical
skills and ranks, better preparing for the heroic battles ahead.
