505 Games Announce They Are Bringing Terraria, From Re-Logic, To PS3 PSN And XBLA In Early 2013

505 Games have announced they are bringing Terraria, a game by Re-Logic, to consoles. the game will come out on the PSN and XBLA in early 2013. the PC version was released back in 2011 and has been downloaded over 1.6 Million times. Terraria is a side scrolling sandbox game that lets people create and explore in the sandbox world. The console versions will have new features, but these weren't not revealed in this announcement.

Milton Keynes, UK — International publisher of video games, 505 Games, has today announced it will be bringing the independent block-building blockbuster Terraria to Xbox LIVE® Arcade for the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft and PlayStation®Network.

Originally released in 2011 on PC by creator-developer Andrew Spinks’ Re-logic studio; Terraria is a side-scrolling, action-adventure sandbox game, with an emphasis on crafting and exploration set in vast and vibrant worlds. It has received universal acclaim from media and fans alike — 1.6 million “Terrarians” have struck out on their own adventures since release.
