SuperBot Entertainment have announced there will be a public beta for Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale this fall. no specific release date was announced, but from reading their comments this public beta will be a step up from the current closed one.
SuperBot Entertainment have also spoken regarding the leak from the closed beta. earlier in the week, the following characters and levels were leaked:

- Ratchet (Ratchet & Clank)
- Sackboy (Little Big Planet)
- Spike (Ape Escape)
- Sir Dan (MediEvil)

- Paris (Sly Cooper)
- BlackRock Stadium (Twisted Metal)
- Columbia (Bioshock Infinite)

Superbot Entertainment appear to have confirmed the leak is real, but have said the leak does not represent the final content of the game. the next character announcement for the game will be at GamesCom.
