Namco Bandai Announce One Piece: Pirate Warriors Comes To The UK On PS3 On 21st September, Detail Collectors Edition

Namco Bandai have announced the UK release date for One Piece: Pirate Warriors is 21st September. they have also announced this PS3 exclusive will have a collectors edition that will feature the game and The Thousand Sunny Ship. Namco Bandai have revealed the game, developed by Omega Force and Tecmo Koei, will be available from the PSN also on the 21st September.

CERGY-PONTOISE, FRANCE – 5 July 2012 – If there’s even an ounce of pirate in you, you need to brace yourself for some major seven seas adventuring as NAMCO BANDAI Games Europe announces the release date of ONE PIECE: PIRATE WARRIORS for PlayStation®3. Developed by Omega Force / TECMO KOEI GAMES CO., LTD., the latest game based on the best-selling manga of all time is heading to Europe in three equally piratical editions – standard retail, collector’s edition and digital – with all three unleashing their heavy swell of mayhem and adventure in EMEA and Australasia this coming September 21st, 2012.

Alongside the game itself, the retail collector’s edition will exclusively feature the “Thousand Sunny” ship, a great big sloop that will carve up the sea before the Straw Hat Pirate crew as they scour the horizon for adventure. This collector’s edition is the first time the magnificent ship has been featured in a One Piece game in Europe.

ONE PIECE: PIRATE WARRIORS is the Straw Hat Pirates’ debut on PlayStation®3 and promises to drench players in a tidal wave of adventure as they face up to hordes of pirate and Marine enemies while drinking in all the great anime moments right up to Marineford. Faithful to the original One Piece manga by Eiichiro Oda, the game features the best-loved characters and almost all the main adversaries from the One Piece universe.

Players will be able to relive their favourite scenes in the shoes of the pirates themselves, including

Luffy, Zoro, Nami, and more, each with their signature attacks. The story mode will drop players right into the heart of the rich One Piece universe filled with beloved characters, powerful enemies, touching moments and memorable scenes. Players can also team up with their “nakama” (One Piece speak for “friends”) and tackle challenges together in online and offline co-op modes for a dose of real pirate camaraderie.
