Sony Have Released A Launch Trailer For Uncharted: Golden Abyss And Detail Black Market NEAR Functionality

Sony have released a launch trailer for Uncharted: Golden Abyss. this trailer shows action, plot twists, and several of the characters in the game. Sony have also detailed the games' NEAR functionality. 

The Black Market is a feature which allows PS Vita owners to collect and trade Bounty Collectables with other PS Vita users. As you play the game and defeat enemies, occasionally they will drop Bounty. but to complete a collection you have to go to The Black Market. By using NEAR, you can trade with other players, either by going to real life locations to pick up items and leaving items in locations. if you do a trade and you already have the item, you get a special item called a Fetish. you cannot collect these in-game and can only get these items via NEAR.

The Black Market is an all-new feature of Uncharted: Golden Abyss that allows players to collect and trade Bounty Collectibles with other PlayStation®Vita users.

As players explore the single player campaign, defeated enemies will occasionally drop Bounty Collectibles that players can then pick up and add to their collection. From valuable gems to historic coins, cards and more, these Bounty Collectibles add a whole new dimension to the world of Uncharted.

To stand a chance of completing their collection players will need to go into The Black Market to trade their wares with other players using NEAR.

The NEAR application let’s PS Vita users check in to real life locations and pick-up and or leave gifts for other gamers to find and use in their games. 

Special items, called Fetishes, will never be found in-game and players must go into The Black Market to find these. Players will receive a fetish if a trade takes place, but doesn’t off the player anything new for their collection.

Trading in The Black Market takes just four steps:

1. Head into The Black Market from the Uncharted: Golden Abyss main menu or via the Live Area
2. Search for trades using NEAR
3. If any trades are found these will be converted into Bounty Collectibles and added to your collection
4. Before leaving the Black Market, submit a new trade offer based on what you are looking to add to your collection next
