EA have announced NBA Jam: On Fire Edition is coming this October to the PSN and XBLA. this new game features enhanced AI that learns how you play and adapts to it. there will also be online, for single player and multiplayer, where you can play against others in competitions. NBA Jam also features a co-op mode called Road Trip where you have to complete online challenges.

EA have also announced a new NBA game, a simulation game whereas NBA Jam is an arcade game, is coming in the fall of 2012.
