The Official UK Nintendo News site has announced that research from YouGov have shown that Mario is the best loved video game character of all time. The Survey also showed that Many Europeans recognised the Mario soundtrack. The Survey was carried out across Europe.
Mario, in 28 years, has been in over 100 Million Games that have sold over 222 Million units.
