Activision have announced Skylanders Giants, the sequel to Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure. Skylanders Giants will continue the line of toys and games and it will be fully compatible with all the Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure toys and customisations. there will be new toys, new challenges, and a new story driven adventure. Activision detail more of the features:
Going Big: Skylanders Giants introduces eight new highly collectible figures that are more than twice the size of the main skylanders cast in both physical and virtual form. Their in-game powers and abilities reflect their colossal scale.
Bright Lights: Helping to further the real world magic of bringing toys to life, Skylanders Giants includes a set of characters that feature spectacular new light technology integrated into the toys, allowing the figure to light up when near or on the Portal of Power™. These characters have additional in-game benefits as well. Batteries are not required.
Brand New Skylanders: Eight new regular sized skylanders, each with their own unique powers, abilities, and personality, join the adventure alongside the Giants.
Forward Compatibility: Every beloved character from Skylanders Spyro's Adventure is 100% compatible with Skylanders Giants, leveled-up stats and customizations intact.
Wider Worlds: Portal Masters will see all new arenas and more gameplay options in Battle Mode for exciting head-to-head play, as well as enhanced Elemental Zones, new Hero Challenges, and other features that encourage players to collect and level up every character.
Activision have also announced Toys R Us will continue as the marquee retailer for Skylanders.
Microsoft have announced the release date for Kinect Star Wars and the Kinect Star Wars Console Bundle come out on 3rd April. LucasArts have also revealed some new features for the game. these include Space Battles, Speeder Bikes and Landspeeders, and a Galactic Dance Off Mode. those who buy the Kinect Star Wars Console Bundle will get an exclusive code for C-390 in the Dance Mode.
Capcom and SoundCloud have announced they are teaming up for a Street Fighter X Tekken Competition. Fans of the game are bring asked to create their own tracks using vocal samples from each game, Tekken and Street Fighter. the best of these tracks will then be showcased during the Street Fighter X Tekken launch event in London on 29th February. of them, one Street Fighter and one Tekken finalist will be picked to battle it out.

Microsoft have announced Microsoft Flight is set to come out on PC on 29th February. the game will be available for free, with content available to purchase for a price. the first of these content packs will also be out on 29th February, it lets you explore the Hawaiian islands, 20 new missions, and 1 new aircraft. Gamers who sign up for the game with Games For Windows Live will also get access to 2 other aircraft, the The Maule M-7-260C and The North American P-51 Mustang, which they can purchase.
Naughty Dog have announced a new patch for Uncharted 3 is out now. patch 1.04 "· Fixes for Hard and Crushing Co-op Adventure Mode that address treasure sets that could not be completed ". The patch also prepares the game for future DLC, more details on this DLC will be revealed soon.
Autumn Games have released a new trailer for Skullgirls. this trailer details the games' story, revealing that the girls are fighting to defeat an evil and take the Skull Heart. the trailer also shows in-game action from each of the fighters.
Capcom have released a new trailer for Ultimate Marvel Vs Capcom 3. this trailer shows how the ability cards work in the game. the trailer uses in-game examples of different cards and show how they can affect gameplay.
Capcom have also detailed where you can find, or how to unlock each card. the image is too large for this site, but if you head here you can see a full list. essentially, to get the card you want, you play as one of the factions and battle on a specific stage...eg choose a hero and fight at Kattleox Island.
