Codemasters have announced a new Dirt Game. Dirt Showdown is coming to PC, PS3, And Xbox 360 in May 2012. Dirt Showdown is not a sequel to Dirt 3, instead its a whole new experience. its more an arcade racer, with nitrous cars racing in courses with ramps, multiple routes, and obstacles in the Racing Events. the Demolition Derby events have players smash their way to victory. Hoonigan events is a freestyle racing event where you have to pull of stunts and wow fans.

There will be over 50 different events, across 4 championships, set in locations from around the world including Miami, London, and Tokyo. there will also be a variety of weather conditions to race through. the game has split screen local multiplayer or up to 8 player online racing. there will also be YouTube integrations you can issue challenges to your friends as well.
