PopCap Announce Plants vs Zombies HD For The iPad
The iPad version of the game costs $9.99/£5.99. Plants vs. Zombies HD has 50 levels and quickplay modes as well as the survival mode that was in the Apple and PC version of Plants vs. Zombies. The iPad version has also got a multi-touch user interface, 4 new achievements and 18 mini-games, one of which is exclusive for the iPad.

The Plants vs. Zombies HD app for iPad offers all 50 levels of Adventure and QuickPlay modes as well as Survival mode from the original Apple Macintosh and Windows PC game. It also includes four all-new achievements (for a total of 17) and 18 mini-games, including Buttered Popcorn – exclusive to the iPad – offering frantic and fun gameplay where players attack zombies by first "buttering" them up before firing corn-cob cannons at them. To defeat the growing hordes of zombies, players can touch them to place butter on their heads. With the Multi-Touch user interface, players can select up to eleven zombies at a time, targeted for "buttering" by the powerful cob cannons. The game's non-stop action is presented in full 1040x768 resolution, delivering stunning visual effects rarely seen in mobile gaming.

Microsoft have announced that the Xbox 360 system update that brings USB memory support to the Xbox 360 is out now. Major Nelson has also twittered that "Everyone should have the latest LIVE update by now.", as Microsoft had been releasing the update slowly across Xbox Live throughout the day.

Sony Announce The Flower Soundtrack Is Coming Out This Week On The PSN For $2.99/€1.99/£1.59
Sony have announced that the Soundtrack to the PSN game Flower is coming out on the 8th April. the soundtrack will be released on the UK, USA, and EU PSN Stores for $2.99/€1.99/£1.59. The Soundtrack will come with 8 tracks and has a runtime of over a hour. Both sites linked in this story have a indepth interview with the games composer.

Big Fish Games have announced that Amazon: Hidden Expedition is out now for the iPad. Amazon: Hidden Expedition has some unique gameplay features that can only be realised on the iPad. 2 players can play against each other on one iPad as they try to complete a level, the screenshot above is an example of this.
the size of the iPad's screen means the screen can be split and the image mirrored for Competitive gameplay, or the whole screen can be taken up with the image for co-op gameplay. The game comes wtih 50 hidden object scenes to play through, as well as 14 mini games. Amazon: Hidden Expedition also comes with a 3 stage hint system.
