Sony have released a new Conversation with Developers video for Knack. this video features Mark Cerny and Yusuke Watanabe, mostly talking in Japanese with English subtitles. in this video they talk about wanting to make a game that casual gamers and hardcore gamers can play. they also reveal the big DualShock 3 they made so they could understand how a child could play the game.

Sony have released a new trailer and screenshots for Knack. Sony have also released a revised boxart for the game. the trailer uses in-game action and cinematics to elaborate on more of the story and characters, more of the different areas in the game are also shown.

Sony Have Released A New Game Trailer For Knack And Detailed Social Treasure Seeking

Sony have released new screenshots, a trailer and detailed social treasure seeking in Knack. this PS4 launch title was previously revealed at the original PS4 announcement back in February. this new video showed more of the game play and story for Knack. it showed his ability to take on different forms by absorbing pieces can be used in puzzles and to take on a variety of enemies.

Sony also revealed a unique social feature for Knack. in the game there are 60 treasure chests to find. these chests contain items that can be used to enhance Knack in various ways. these parts can then be put together to create items. the chests contain a different item in everyones game. this means when you come to a chest that your friends have found, you are presented with the choice of the item you found or the item your friend found.

the example they used is if your 1 part away from creating an item, if one of your friends had found that part in that chest you can also take it to complete your item. so more friends will mean more items that could be in each chest.

Sony Announce Knack, A New IP Coming To The PlayStation 4

The first PlayStation 4 game Sony announced at their meeting was Knack. the focus with Knack is fun, whilst using the power of the PS4 to explore the limits of the hero. Knack is the result of an experiment and it has the ability to incorporate relics and items into it's body to make it bigger or better. this "Knack" is used throughout the game to solve puzzles and defeat a Goblin Army. they describe the game as a mix between Crash Bandicoot and Katamari.
