EA have revealed the game engine that will power the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions is called EA Sports Ignite. This engine features:
- Human Like reaction times - computes 4x more calculations per second than previous consoles
- Contextual awareness and instincts - Think, Anticipate and react
- Dynamic Movements and Biomechanics - 10x more animation depth than previous consoles
- New Locomotion systems - players Plant, Pivot and cut, quickly change speeds and shift momentum
- Dynamic stadiums and arenas that change thorugh the match.
- players and crowds have expectations and react when they're not met
