EA have released a new trailer for EA Sports Active 2. this trailer features footage of in-game activities and people playing them. it highlights the new heart rate monitor and the fact its now coming out on the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 as well as the Nintendo Wii. The trailer shows many different activities in the game before finishing by saying that the game is coming out on 19th November.

EA Have released a trailer and screenshots for EA Sports Active. the trailer is the same as the one they used in their press conference, and it shows gameplay from various activities as well as the new heart rate monitors. The Integration with EA Sports Website is also shown, as is the fact the game will come with over 70+ exercises.

EA had already mentioned before that the Nintendo Wii version of the game is compatible with the Wii Balance board, whilst the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of the game will get DLC.

EA has announced the next game in the EA Sports Active series is EA Sports Active 2.0. The game is coming out on the Nintendo Wii, Playstation 3, and iPhone/iPod Touch this fall.

EA Sports Active 2.0 will come with wireless motion sensors, for the arms and legs, as well as and a heart rate monitor. EA Sports Active 2.0 will also have a online hub that will allow gamers to upload their workout data. the Hub will also have workout groups, the ability to send messages to other members, and share fitness journeys.

EA have also revealed that on top of the 3 phase, 9 week program that comes with the game, additional mini-programs will be available as add ons most likely as DLC for the Playstation 3 and iPhone versions.
