Sony have revealed the box the Playstation Vita is going to Ship In. pictured above, the box is simple and clearly states, like the PS3 box does, in the bottom corner which model you are buying.

This is the icon for Party. here you can chat with your friends at any time, no matter if you and your friends are playing different games (Cross Game Chat). you can chat with up to 8 others. you can also use Party to set up and jump into multiplayer games.
This is a location based gaming network. you can use Near to share gaming information with those nearby, find those playing nearby and even challenge them to games. you are also able to send levels/unlocks/in-game items with near and receive them. You are able to view your friends game preferences and compare trophies and stats.
This Icon takes you to the Web Browser.
This is the icon for the friends list application. you can see what your friends are playing, including what they are playing on the PS3. you can also see the games you've played together, compare trophies, and see what your friends have recently played. like the PS3, you are able to choose a avatar.
This icon takes you to Group Messaging. you can send messages to your PSN Friends, either updates, and pictures. you can send messages to PS3 and PSP users, as well as PSV Users.
This is the icon that takes you to music, you can listen to music on the PSV from here.
This is the icon for the Welcome Park App. this app lets users try out the different features of the PSV via mini-games.
This app takes you to trophies. the PSV supports trophies and this app lets you see which trophies you have earned on the PSV and the PS3.
