What Have You Played This Week?
Unfortunately, I Didn't play many games this week. I put a lot of work into Okami, hoping to finish the game, and didn't have much time for other games.
Football Manager 10 – PC – thought I would have a go with another team. I'm now Annan and making my way through the first season.
Okami – Wii – I put a lot of hours in to try and complete the game. In the end, I thought I had finished the game but it turned out it was just the beginning. This main part of the story was told very well and i'm interested to see how they've managed to drag out the story into something bigger. I wonder how much longer it will take as i'm already 20 hours into the game. Despite this, the game is still a must play. I am enjoying every minute of the game, from the graphics, the story, the music, even the controls have become much easier to use with time.
Sonic & Sega All Star Racing – PS3 – Demo – i've been interested in this game since it was announced and i've been looking forward to having a go. Whilst the demo is short, it does show how the characters can differ and how the tracks are to race on. I personally enjoyed it; the difficulty is a bit higher than Mario kart but I feel the game has as much depth as Mario Kart. I never managed to win a race but I did manage to come second. The drifting takes time to get used to. With Sonic, the drifting was very pronounced but with Eggman it was less noticeable. The graphics are very colourful and it looks good and fun.

Getting the demo from the Wii's Nintendo Channel, I played a few races on the track. One noticeable thing is that the game feels a lot easier. I managed to win both races with ease. The graphics do look good for a DS game, they are still bright and colourful like the console versions. Out of the two, I would prefer to get the console version.

Square Enix Europe Announce A Just Cause 2 Demo Is Coming 4th March
Square Enix Europe have announced that a Demo for Just Cause 2 is coming out on 24th March. The demo will be on both the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 and feature 35 square miles of the lautan Lama Desert. This is just 1 island from the Panau Archipelago.
The Island will have towns, villages, military installations, mountain rangers and more which you will be able to interact with. The Demo itself will have you hunt down one of the main games 50 military colonels. to do so you will have to destroy military bases and much more.

EA have released some new screenshots for Skate 3 and a developer diary. the screenshots don't appear to be from the district that the dev diary talks about, but they are in-game screenshots and show a couple of the moves being pulled off.
The Dev Dairy focuses purely on the University District in the game. this new district is designed to offer new challenges and areas not seen in previous Skate games. the devs talk about the choice for wide open area as well as some hidden areas in the district and what they offer.

PopCap Announce Plants Vs Zombies Is The Fastest Selling Game On The App Store
PopCap have announced that in the 9 days that Plants Vs Zombies has been on sale, it has sold over 300,00 units. this is a new record for a App Store game. Plants Vs Zombies has also become the fastest game to gross in more then $1 Million.
PopCap have released some statistics for Other App Games. Bejeweled 2 has now sold more than 3 Million units. Bookworm and Chuzzle are constantly in the top 100 selling Apps, whilst Bejeweled 2, Peggle, And Now Plants Vs Zombies have all been the top selling App at some point.

The game lets players customise their character, armour and weapons in order to protect a town from majestic monsters as it rebuilds following a devastating earthquake. Online text chat is fully functional and online voice chat is enabled using the Wii Speak accessory.

Nintendo Have Announced that Metroid: Other M Is coming out in the EU in Q3 2010. Its also been revealed that Metorid: Other M is a game that is mostly played in the 2D perspective, but the player can change it to a 3D perspective at any time.

The incredible new Metroid game, developed for Wii through a collaboration by Nintendo and the world-renowned Team Ninja, looks at the classic franchise from a new perspective. While much of the game is reminiscent of 2D side-scrollers, players can switch the perspective into 3D at any time as they explore the twisting passages of a derelict space station and delve deep into a cinematic, never-before-told story of bounty hunter Samus Aran’s past. This new approach uses a new control scheme in which players use the Wii Remote controller held sideways to battle enemies and navigate the expansive, gorgeous environments in classic Metroid fashion, then aim at the screen with the Wii Remote pointer to blast foes in first-person and hunt the world for clues and hidden passages. The sequel to the smash-hit galaxy-hopping original includes the gravity-defying, physics-based exploration from the first game, but is loaded with entirely new galaxies and features to challenge and delight players. On some stages, Mario can pair up with his dinosaur friend Yoshi who can use his tongue to hold items in his mouth and spit them back at enemies. Players can also have fun with new items such as a drill that lets our hero tunnel through solid rock. Super Mario Galaxy 2 will launch across Europe on 11th June 2010.

Sega have announced that Alpha Protocol is coming out in the USA on the PC, Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 on 1st June. Gamers who pre-order Alpha Protocol at GameStop will get the Assault Pack that contains exclusive weapons and ammo.
Sega have also released new screenshots for Alpha Protocol. the screenshots appear to be in-game, with one appearing to show the games HUD. the screenshots show alot of action, either with guns or Melee. several different locations and enemies are also shown.

Namco Bandai Announce Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 2 Is Coming To PS3 And 360 This Fall
Namco Bandai announce that they are releasing Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 2 and that it is coming out this Fall in America and that it will be coming to both the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360. The Game will feature new enhancements, an extensive character roster and better visuals than the first game.
The game will take players through the Naruto Shippuden story arc, including the environments, missions and characters seen in Naurto Shippuden. There will be over 40 characters to choose from, each with their original Japanese voice overs available, as well as Sasuke wearing Akatsuki gear.
The Screenshots and trailer all have in-game action and focus on showing alot of the gameplay, characters, character skills, and enemies in the game.
