PopCap Announce A New Update For Plants Vs Zombies And Plants Vs Zombies HD Is Out Now

PopCap have announced a new update for Plants Vs Zombies, on the iPhone and Ipod Touch, and Plants Vs Zombies HD, on the iPad, is out now. the update is free for all current users.

PopCap Detail The UpComing Plants vs Zombies Update On The iPhone

PopCap have announced a new update is coming to the iPhone version of Plants vs Zombies. this update will bring new game modes, new mini games, and new achievements.  The New game mode is Zen Garden, and the 6 mini games are Zombiquarium, It’s Raining Seeds, Column Like You See, Slot Machine, Beghouled Twist, and Portal Combat. The Screenshots below are from these new modes.

PopCap have also detailed the future updates that are coming later in the year. these will include Retina Display support, IZombie, Vasebreaker, and more.

PopCap have announced that Plants vs. Zombies is coming to the USA on the Nintendo DS in January 2011. the game will be released at retail for a suggested retail price of $19.95. PopCap Have Released New Screenshots And A Trailer For Plants Vs. Zombies On XBLA

PopCap have released new screenshots and a trailer for the upcoming Xbox Live Arcade Version of Plants Vs. Zombies. this version is set to come out on 8th September. The Screenshots and trailer are both in-game and they show the familiar single player gameplay as well as the co-op and 2 player vs. mode. the trailer also shows many of the other stages in the game and the types of Flowers/Zombies you will be up against.

PopCap have announced that Plants vs Zombies is coming to the Xbox 360 Xbox Live Arcade this fall. this version of the game will have more content than any other version of Plants vs Zombies, with 7 game modes, 2 new multiplayer modes, and 21 mini-games. The game is currently priced at 1200 MS Points.

The Main features of Plants vs Zombies include:
  • A total of seven game modes, including two new multiplayer modes: Co-Op and Vs. Mode
  • 12 achievements and 21 mini-games – more than any other adaptation, and including the exclusive Heavy WeaponTM-inspired mini-game

PopCap Announce Plants vs Zombies HD For The iPad

PopCap have announced Plants vs Zombies HD for the iPad and announced that the game is out now. the original Plants vs. Zombies game for the iPhone has gone on to sell over 650,000 units since its release in February.

The iPad version of the game costs $9.99/£5.99. Plants vs. Zombies HD has 50 levels and quickplay modes as well as the survival mode that was in the Apple and PC version of Plants vs. Zombies. The iPad version has also got a multi-touch user interface, 4 new achievements and 18 mini-games, one of which is exclusive for the iPad.

PopCap Announce Plants Vs Zombies Is The Fastest Selling Game On The App Store


PopCap have announced that in the 9 days that Plants Vs Zombies has been on sale, it has sold over 300,00 units. this is a new record for a App Store game. Plants Vs Zombies has also become the fastest game to gross in more then $1 Million.

PopCap have released some statistics for Other App Games. Bejeweled 2 has now sold more than 3 Million units. Bookworm and Chuzzle are constantly in the top 100 selling Apps, whilst Bejeweled 2, Peggle, And Now Plants Vs Zombies have all been the top selling App at some point.
