Namco Bandai have revealed that Star Trek: The Video Game will allow players to see more of the U.S.S Enterprise than the movie currently has. Star Trek: The Video Game comes out on 26th April and players will face off against Gorn on the Enterprise, with battles taking place in familiar locations like the Bridge, Transporter Room and Engine Room and other locations not yet seen in the movies like the Observation Lounge, Quarters and more.
Sony have announced PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale DLC comes out this week. the DLC is out now in the USA and comes out across the EU tomorrow. the first piece is the DLC characters Kat and Emmet. these characters are free to download for two weeks, once downloaded these characters are yours to own permanently. Also coming out is a new stage called "Fearless". this stage is a mix of Heavenly Sword and WipeOut. this stage DLC is free to play online in ranked matches, but to play it else where the stage will cost €1.99/$1.99.
The Pokémon Company have revealed Pokémon TV. this free app for Android and iOS devices enables fans to watch episodes from the Pokémon series. as well as Pokémon episodes, the app will show special features like Meloetta's Moonlight Special which will be shown for the first time in English via the app from 15th February.
There have been over 700 episodes Pokémon and 15 seasons. this app will let users watch episodes from different seasons and gets updated with new episodes each week.
The latest CoroCoro Comic has leaked in Japan. This weeks comic has revealed a new Pokémon and revealed Pokémon Rumble is coming to the Wii U. The newest Pokémon has been revealed as a new Eevee Evolution and is called Ninfia. its type and ability is currently not known. Ninfia will be first revealed in the Pikachu short Pikachu and Eevee Friends.
Pokémon Rumble, known as Pokémon Scramble in Japan, has been revealed as coming to the Wii U. the game will be a downloadable title and feature all 649 Pokémon from generations I-V. the game will support up to 4 players and there can be up to 100 Pokémon battling at the same time.
EA And BioWare have released a new teaser trailer for the upcoming 1.7 game update to Star Wars: The Old Republic.
They have also provided some more details regaring the Limited Time Live Event called Relics Of The Gree and the Galacxtic Reputation System:
Relics
of the Gree – Discover the mysteries behind the Grey Secant,
an ancient Gree starship that has suddenly appeared over Ilum’s
Western Ice Shelf. From February 12 to February 26, players can visit
the in-game News Terminals located on Carrick Station or Vaiken
Spacedock to begin their adventure. The Gree have promised advanced
technology, including powerful weapons and armor, to anyone who is
brave enough to aid them against an insidious foe who has taken
control at the heart of their ship.
Galactic
Reputation – This new system enables players to earn
Reputation points by completing missions for factions such as the
Gree, or for military divisions within the Republic and the Empire.
The Galactic Reputation system advances characters through six ranks
of increasing prestige: “Outsider”, "Newcomer",
"Friend", "Hero", "Champion", and
"Legend". Galactic Reputation is also tied to a character’s
Legacy, so Reputation points and ranks are shared across all the
characters within the same Legacy.
Feral Interactive have announced they are bringing the Mac version of LEGO The Lord Of The Rings out on 21st February. the game will come to retail across the USA, EU And UK for $29.99, £19.99, €24.99 and also be released digitally.
Capcom have released a new trailer for Dragon's Dogma. this is for the Dark Arisen DLC that comes to PS3 and Xbox 360 on 23rd April. this trailer uses in-game action to show many of the new enemies on Bitterblack Isle and locations.
Capcom have released 2 new gameplay videos for the PC version of Resident Evil 6. the first video shows action from the Campus, Stilt Housing Area and Water Channel parts of the game. the second video shows action from the Mercenaries Mode. this PC version is set to come out on 22nd March.
Sony have announced the PS3 YouTube App has come to 19 more countries today. the app is already out across several regions and now comes to most of the EU, New Zealand and Australia. the 22mb app is free to down from the TV and Video Services part of the XMB. The app also features an ability to pair up with a phone, enabling you to use the phone as a remote whilst watching it on the TV.
