Ludia And CBS Announce They Are Making A Game Based On Hollywood Squares

Ludia Inc and CBS Consumer Products have annoucned they are working on a videogame based on Hollywood Squares. the game is set to come out in N.America on the PC/Mac, iPhone, iPod Touch and Consoles (though none specifically mentioned).

The Game will have bonus videos of the funniest moments from Hollywood squares, as well as other awards. the gameplay will be familiar to the show, 9 open faced cubes with celebrities/tv's in them. Zingers and Bluffs will be included. There will also be a reward system to enhance the competitive game.

The game should start to be released in 2010.

The Hollywood Squares game will feature all of the favorite elements of the show as played on television, as two contestants play head-to-head in a bid to win money and prizes. Nine open-faced cubes make up the tic-tac-toe style “board” for the game which are occupied by celebrities/TV personalities. The stars are asked questions and players judge whether their answers are true or false, all the while incorporating outrageous “zingers” and “bluffs” to fuel the fun. Each correct answer earns the player a square on the board, and the first player to mark three squares in a row wins the game.

The Hollywood Squares video game will also incorporate connected gaming elements, single and multiplayer game modes, as well as reward systems to fuel the competitive fun between players. Additionally, the game will incorporate bonus video of the funniest moments from the TV show.
The first of the Hollywood Squares games is slated for release in 2010.

EA Announces The Playstation 3 Exclusive Battlefield Bad Company 2 Multiplayer Beta Will Start November 19th

EA and Dice have announced that there will be a Multiplayer Beta for Battlefield Bad Company 2 and it will be exclusively on the Playstation 3.

The Beta will start on November 19th and feature the Arica Harbour Map. this map is a 24 player map, and the only mode available will be Rush. The two teams are the Americans and the Russians, and the objective is to take over the Russian Base. there will be vehicles available.

A PC open Beta will start in December and early next year a 360 Multiplayer Demo will be released.
