EA Announce The First DLC For Skate 3 Comes Out 8th June For 400 MS Points/$4.99

EA Announce the First DLC for Skate 3 is coming out 8th June for 400MS Points/$4.99 on the PS3 and Xbox 360. The Maloof Money Cup has 100 new achievement points and 5 new trophies to earn. The Maloof Money Cup is the biggest annual contests for Skateboarding, and this DLC will feature the Flushing Meadows location, where this years Maloof Money Cup is taking place.

The content pack hits Xbox Live and PlayStation Network on June 8 for 400 MS points or $4.99 and an additional 100 achievement points and 5 trophies.

The all new DLC lets players compete in the largest pursed event and one of skateboarding’s biggest annual contests - The Maloof Money Cup. For the first time ever, this year’s competition will be traveling east to Flushing Meadows, New York, where the site of the 1964 World’s Fair has been converted into one gnarly skate mecca. Gamers will have the opportunity to compete against some of the biggest names in skateboarding as they shred an all-new custom built street park for the ultimate cash purse.

EA Have Released A Developer Interview With The Designer From Skate 3

EA have released a new developer interview for Skate 3. this video features a interview with the games designer, Jordan Watt. he acknowledges that skating is hard and that they try to help the player by having coach in the game, Frank. He also discusses that the game builds on the improvements seen in Skate 2, there are now more characters, 29 in total now, better online, for example the video editor can be accessed whilst playing online with friends, and new features like Skate Feed, telling your friends what you have been doing like Facebook. Alot of ingame footage is shown of many things talked about in the video.

EA Have Released A New Co-Op Trailer For Skate 3

EA Have released a new trailer for Skate 3. this trailer focuses on the Co-Op aspect of the game. the trailer shows 2 people joining a game together, and talking to discuss where to go. the ability to move items in a co-op game was also shown as well as joining other players and forming a larger group. the trailer also talks about the ability to record various skate moves and upload them to the internet to share with the group. the trailer uses In-Game footage and action to show all this.

EA Have Released A New Video For Skate 3 From The Upcoming Demo

EA Have released a new video for Skate 3. this video is from the upcoming Demo, showing the University District. the video shows various skaters skating and pulling tricks in all sorts of locations in the University District area.




EA Announce The Skate 3 Demo Is Coming To Xbox Live And PSN On 15th April


EA Have announced that a Skate 3 demo is coming to Xbox Live and the Playstation Network on 25th April. The demo will include the University District in the Port Carverton. the demo will also have singleplayer and multiplayer challenges. The Demo will also come with Skate.School, and gamers will also be able to personalise the University District by dropping 24 different objects into it. The Demo will also come with the Replay Editor and users will be able to upload these to Skate.Reel.

EA Have Released A New Dev Diary For Skate 3 Focusing On Skate Create

EA have released a new dev diary for Skate 3. this diary focuses on the Skate Create aspects in Skate 3. the diary uses in-game footage to highlight aspects of Skate Create that the developers are discussing.

The main areas shown in this video include, the ability to create your own skate park and upload it online. you are also able to create your own decals in the game and share them amongst friends. They also discuss how, in the open world, that your able to drop new objects into the game to skate off from.

EA Announce Skate 3 Is Coming Out In The UK On 14th May

EA have announced that Skate 3 is coming out in the UK on 14th May. EA have also revealed Skate.School and detailed this new feature in Skate 3.

In Skate.School, Coach Frank acts as a mentor and Skate.School acts as a tutorial for the game before the player plays the game. Skate.School will also teach new techniques, for seasoned gamers, that are only in Skate 3. EA have released a video with the team behind Skate.School and detail the new features in the new Skate.School.

EA Have Released A New Screenshots And A Developer Diary For Skate 3

EA have released some new screenshots for Skate 3 and a developer diary. the screenshots don't appear to be from the district that the dev diary talks about, but they are in-game screenshots and show a couple of the moves being pulled off.

The Dev Dairy focuses purely on the University District in the game. this new district is designed to offer new challenges and areas not seen in previous Skate games. the devs talk about the choice for wide open area as well as some hidden areas in the district and what they offer.

EA Reveal Skate 3 Pre-Order Incentive With A New Skate 3 Trailer

EA have released a new trailer for Skate 3. this is a trailer of what you get if you pre-order Skate 3, the Black Box Distribution Skate Park. the trailer shows in-game footage, or replays, of a few characters skate boarding around this park and shows what the park looks like and what obstacles there are.

EA Has Released A Trailer For Skate 3

EA has released a new trailer for Skate 3. this trailer is a first look at the game. its not clear how much of the trailer is gameplay or in-game cutscenes, but it does reveal that the game currently has a release date of May 2010.
