Maxis Reveal The SimCity Beta Runs From 25th January Till 28th, Sign Ups Open Until 21st January


EA And Maxis have revealed the SimCity beta will run from 25th January until the 28th January. those who previously signed up for the beta are in strong consideration to be a part of it. Maxis have revealed that there is still a chance for other people to join as as Beta sign ups are open until 2AM GMT on 21st January.

The Beta runs 5pm GMT on 25th January until 8AM 28th January. it allows players to play a 1 hours slice of the game, that can be played multiple times. at the Beta site, fans can deliver their feedback.

Tecmo Koei Detail PS3 Dead Or Alive 5 Cross Platform Support With PS Vita Dead Or Alive 5 Plus


Tecmo Koei have detailed the Cross Platform support between Dead Or Alive 5 on the PS3 and Dead Or Alive 5 Plus on The PS Vita. the PS Vita version comes out on 22nd March and the cross Platform support includes:

CROSS-PLATFORM PLAY
§  Hardware icons will appear next to player names in cross-platform battles to indicate whether they are playing on PS3 or PS Vita
§  Cross-platform battles will run at 60fps on both platforms so there will be no lag or slowdown even when playing on different devices
§  All characters that have been unlocked on PS3 can be used on PS Vita—and vice versa
§  In-game rankings will show whether players are on PS Vita or PS3


 CROSS-PLATFORM DLC
§  Using the PS Store, DLC purchases will be shared across both platforms so players can pay a single price while getting dual platform use
§  Over 100 costumes have been delivered to date as DLC, and the cross-platform transfer allows players to preserve their collection while getting new gameplay options with DEAD OR ALIVE 5 PLUS on PS Vita


 CROSS-PLATFORM GAME SAVES AND UNLOCKED CONTENT
§  Saved games on PS Vita or PS3 can be used on the other platform, so gamers can play on the go and then bring their progress back to the console (or vice versa)
§  All unlocked content on one platform is available on the other platform; for instance, Tina’s Legend Swimsuit earned by completing Legend mode in Arcade mode without continuing will be available on PS3 if earned on PS Vita
§  Any new stages for DOA5 on PS3, will also be available on DEAD OR ALIVE 5 PLUS for PS Vita”

Tate Interactive Announce Urban Trial Freestyle, Coming To PS3 And PS Vita

Tate Interactive have announced Urban Trial Freestyle for the PS3 and PS Vita. coming later in the year, this Trials looking game, focuses on graphics and social interaction. there are around 100 different leaderboards across the 2 game modes. Stunt Mode has players pulling of stunts in tracks . there is also a time attack mode which keeps a ghost record of your best run on a track.

Graphically, the game uses the power of the PS3 to create active backgrounds and secondary effects. the game features 5 different environments to race through. Tate Interactive say there haven't been any compromises in making the PS Vita version of the game, it features Visuals and physics like the PS3.

Sega have announced Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed is coming to PC's. the game will be released digitally on 31st January for $29.99/£19.99/€24.99. the game will feature PC exclusive characters including Manager Man from Sports Interactive's Football Manager Series, The Legendary Shogun from Creative Assembly's Total War Series and the Pyro, Heavy and Spy From Team Fortress 2.
