Spicy Horse Games, the studio founded in 2006 by American McGee, have released the first gameplay video for their upcoming action RPG Akaneiro: Demon Hunters. the game is set in feudal Japan and pits you against the Yokai, demonic creatures inspired from Japanese Folklore. Akaneiro: Demon Hunters is a browser based free to play MMO.
Spicy Horse Games have also announced gamers can sign up for the Akaneiro: Demon Hunters from today. you can head to http://angry-red.com and sign up.
Sony have announced PS3 firmware update 4.25 comes out tomorrow. the only feature that has been announced for this update is the increase in cloud game save data storage. previously, Playstation Plus members were only able to upload 150MB of save data to the cloud, with Firmware 4.25 you'll now be able to upload 1GB.
Freebird Games have announced they are releasing their game To The Moon on Steam. in celebration of this release, there is currently a 20% discount on the game, as the game+soundtrack bundle. until 14th September you can pick the game up for $7.99/£5.59 and the bundle for $9.99/£7.99. Those who have bought the game from Freebird Games' website can email them with your order ID to receive a Steam Key.
Sony have revealed a new Playstation Vita Discovery App is coming out tomorrow. Ecolibrium is free to download and its a real time eco-system simulator. the idea is to create and balance an ecosystem. you can use the Vita's GPS to hunt down creatures from your own environment or use the games auction house to sell/buy them. the game features online challenges and leaderboards. the game also uses NEAR to collect/release your creatures to over gamers near you.
Nintendo have announced they are releasing a new European Nintendo Direct. this direct goes live on 13th September at 3PM and focuses on the Wii U Console. speculation around the internet is that Nintendo may reveal the release date and maybe price of the console during this event.
505 Games have announced they are bringing Terraria, a game by Re-Logic, to consoles. the game will come out on the PSN and XBLA in early 2013. the PC version was released back in 2011 and has been downloaded over 1.6 Million times. Terraria is a side scrolling sandbox game that lets people create and explore in the sandbox world. The console versions will have new features, but these weren't not revealed in this announcement.
