Insomniac have announced Resistance 3 has gone gold and is set to make it's 6th September release date. there will also be a day 1 patch for the game that brings fixes and tweaks to the game, possibly with a focus on multiplayer. With this announcement, Insomniac have also released a new trailer for the game revealing more of the games story, characters, and locations.
Insomniac have revealed that included with Resistance 3, on the disc, will be Demos for Killzone 3 and MotorStorm Apocalypse in both 2D and 3D. there's also a 2D demo for inFamous 2. there are trailers and developer video's for UNCHARTED 3: Drake’s Deception, Starhawk, God of War: Origins, and SOCOM 4. there is also content from Sony Pictures and Sony Music including trailers and music videos.

Temco Koei Announce Champion Jockey: G1 Jockey and Gallop Racer Comes Out On 25th October
Temco Koei have announced Champion Jockey: G1 Jockey and Gallop Racer is coming out on 25th October in the USA. players get to race over 19 tracks, inspired by real world courses, and it has support for 2 player offline and up to 4 player online races. the game comes with a “Fun Race Mode” which provides a more arcadey feel, by toning down the less accessible simulation aspects of the game.

Race on a total of 19 different tracks inspired by real world horse racing tracks including but not limited to turf and dirt tracks and steeplechases from all over the world. Serious and casual horse racing fans can compete together in an accessible “Fun Race Mode”. Toning down the simulation levels of authenticity, this mode will maximize the fun of using motion controls to race. Offline Champion Jockey supports one to two players, and allows for up to four jockeys online!

Square Enix have announced Final Fantasy Tactics: The War Of The Lions is out now on iPhone and iPod Touch. the game costs £10.99 / €12.99 across the UK and Europe, but it is available worldwide. The iPad version is set to come out later this month.

FINAL FANTASY TACTICS was first released in Japan for the PlayStation® in 1997 and sold over 2.4 million copies worldwide. The game’s popularity expanded when it was re-released in 2007 as FINAL FANTASY TACTICS: THE WAR OF THE LIONS for the PSP® (PlayStation®Portable) system with added features such as new cut scenes, scenarios and jobs. Now you can enjoy the world of Ivalice and tactical battles once again on the iPhone and iPod touch.
In FINAL FANTASY TACTICS: THE WAR OF THE LIONS you can use the touch screen interface to fine-tune the control of the game. The complex tactical game can be effortlessly and intuitively controlled by tapping units and menus. Instead of switching fixed map views - you can now rotate, move and change the size of maps by sliding and pinching. The loading times have also improved and certain cut scenes can be skipped so the player can dive straight into the battles.
