Nintendo have revealed the Boxart and a new type of Pikmin in Pikmin 3. this new flying Pikmin can carry items in the air and joins the new Rock Pikmin. Nintendo also had a press release that stated the release date for Pikmin 3 is 4th August at retail and on the eShop.
"• Pikmin 3: In addition to new Rock Pikmin, the new game also introduces flying Winged Pikmin that follow the player and can carry items in the air. The game launches in stores and in the Nintendo eShop on Aug. 4."
Its not clear if the game is coming out on 4th August as out of all the press releases, only 1 mentioned it. but it is also probable that Nintendo slipped up and accidentally revealed the release date, i think it's the latter.
Nintendo have announced Game & Wario comes to the Wii U on 23rd June, both digitally on the eShop and at retailers. Nintendo have released a new trailer showing some of the mini-games in action, the aim for the game is to have the GamePad interact with the game a different way.
Nintendo have released new screenshots for the New Super Mario Bros. U DLC, New Super Luigi U. coming out this summer, this DLC will add 82 updated courses to the game that will star Luigi. Luigi is able to jump higher than Mario but is unable to stop quickly. the level timer has been reduced to 100 seconds and the quick stages are full of obstacles.
Nintendo have had a Nintendo Direct today. it's focus was on the 3DS but there was also news regarding the Wii U.
There is too much news from this direct for one post, so we'll start with the news that the upcoming Wii U firmware update that brings improved menu loading times is coming out next week. also coming next week on the Wii U eShop is Wii U Panorama View and the Wii U Virtual console Service.
Square Enix have released a new behind the scenes look at Deus Ex: Human Revolution Director’s Cut. this video features members of the Eidos dev team talking about the choice to make a Director's Cut and to release it on Wii U. they reveal they worked with Straight Right on this version. the Wii U GamePad is designed to be more of an augmentation of your character rather than a controller and they also talk about all the little improvements they are bringing to the game.

Deep Silver have released a second survival guide for Metro: Last Light. this video focuses on enemy danger. it reveals the main human factions in the game and offers some tips on how to take them out stealthy. the video also uses in-game action to show some of the mutated wild life you'll be up against.
Kalypso have released a new trailer for DARK. coming this summer on Xbox 360 and PC, this video uses in-game action to show some of your Vampire Skills. these skills includes ways to distract those looking for you, using Vampire Vision to see your enemies in the level, and Shadow Leap can be used to reach high places or you can use Celerity to run.
