Microsoft Announce That Forza 3 Has Sold Over 1 Million Units And The Hot Holidays DLC Is Out Now

Microsoft has announced that since Forza 3's launch, just over a month ago, the game has sold over 1 million units worldwide.

Microsoft has also announced that the "Hot Holidays" DLC for Forza 3 is now available for 400 MS Points. The Trailer shows a montage of all the cars, in this pack, and what they look like in the game. there are screenshots for each of the cars in the "Hot Holidays" DLC.

Sega Have Released Screenshots, A Trailer, And A Fact Sheet For The USA Release Of Yakuza 3

Following Sega and Sony's Announcement that The Yakuza 3 is coming out in the USA on March 2010, Sega have released some screenshots, A trailer, and a partial fact sheet for Yakuza 3.
The Screenshots are in-game and show a few things that happen in the game. The Trailer shows alot of action from the game and some of the things that happen.

Nintendo Will Visit Erickson and Leisure Care Facilities Across America Demonstrating The Nintendo Wii To Seniors

Nintendo have announced that they will be going round America visiting Erickson and Leisure Care Facilities. At these events, seniors and their families will be shown the Wii and its games as well as getting the chance to play New Super Mario Bros. Wii and the Console.
This will run from December 4th to December 20th, and the following will be visited:

But then came the game Wii Sports™ and, with it, senior bowling leagues and the emergence of video games as a regular pastime for seniors nationwide. Sony Announce That Yakuza 3 Is Coming Out Exclusively For The PS3 In The USA On March 2010

Sony has announced that The Yakuza 3 is coming out Exclusively on the Playstation 3 In The USA on March 2010. The game will be voiced by the original Japanese cast and be subtitled into English.

Sony go on to say that it was the fans of the game, their passion and determination that meant this Western release could happen. So as thanks, Sony will allow fans to submit questions to the Yakuza 3 development team in Japan by submitting it below the article, from their USA Blog, with *Dev Question* typed before the question.

Sony Reveal That PS3 Firmware 3.15 Brings Mini's And Data Transfer To The PS3

Sony has announced that Firmware 3.15 is coming out soon. The update will be optional, the PS3 won't Prompt you to download it so you have the choice to do it manually.

One of the key Features it brings is Mini's. These will be playable on the PS3. If you have already bought a Mini for you PSP/PSPgo you can download it onto the PS3 for free and play it. Every Mini released After 17th December is compatible, with previous Mini's becoming available soon after.


The Other Key feature this update brings is the PS3 Data Transfer. this function allows you to transfer data from one PS3 to another PS3. Games, Save Data, and Downloaded Videos can be transferred from PS3 to PS3. but these will be deleted on the original PS3. Photo's, Music, Videos will not be deleted from the original PS3.


Sony have released details on how to do the Data Transfer. All you need is a LAN cable and 2 PS3's.

"1. Turn both the current PS3 (A) and new PS3 (B) on and connect them with a LAN cable; PS3 (A) should be connected to the TV

2. On the XMB of PS3 (A), scroll to the Settings menu and select [System Settings] and then [Data Transfer Utility]

3. Follow the instructions on-screen and transfer data

4. After transferring the data, follow the instructions on-screen, and then connect PS3 (B) to the TV to view the XMB

5. If content that was downloaded from PlayStation Store was transferred as part of this operation, you must activate PS3 (B) before you can use the data. Log in to the PS3 system as the user who owns the content, and then select (PlayStation Network) > (Account Management) > (System Activation) to activate the system"
