Press Release
IRVINE, CALIFORNIA - MAY 24, 2011 - ATLUS today announced that Shin Megami Tensei®: Persona®2: Innocent Sin, the one entry in its acclaimed Persona series of roleplaying games never to be released outside of Japan, is finally coming to North America for PSP system this fall. In a world in which rumors are becoming reality, an unlikely team of citizens must discover and harness a hidden power dormant within each of them if they're to have any chance of getting to the bottom of this dangerous phenomenon and stopping it before it gets out of control.
Over 12 years in the making, the official localization of Innocent Sin provides patient fans with the other side of the Persona 2 arc, a dark adventure about high school students who find their reality being twisted by rumors, and who must draw on their inner strengths, their Personas, to bring back order. Taking advantage of PSP system's 16:9 aspect ratio, higher resolution display, superior audio, and increased horsepower, this remastered version of one of the pinnacles of ATLUS' flagship Shin Megami Tensei franchise delivers the game in style with a sleek new interface, new sidequests in the Climax Theater, and the player's choice of the fully remixed or original soundtrack.
While the original Persona still exhibited many foundational ties to the core SMT series, Persona 2: Innocent Sin marked the point at which the beloved RPG series found its identity. While retaining core series mechanics like demon negotiation and party-building, Innocent Sin was ultimately defined by its far greater emphasis on character and story over surviving long dungeons, eschewing the tradition of first-person dungeon crawling in favor of a third-person view of the ever-escalating insanity. The story unfolds through lovingly crafted sprite animations and dialogue portraits, which were current series artist Shigenori Soejima's first contribution to the Persona games, but it's the characters who shine most, from the memorable villains to the fully fleshed-out main cast to the vast array of people they meet along the way.
SMT: Persona 2: Innocent Sin for PSP system is currently scheduled to release in North America this Fall. For more info, visit the official website at http://www.atlus.com/persona2.
About SMT: Persona 2: Innocent Sin
The story takes place in Sumaru City, Japan, population 1,280,000. Its protagonist attends Seven Sisters High School ("Sevens" for short), whose emblem is considered a status symbol even amongst students from other schools. Soon, though, a rumor that Sevens' emblem was actually cursed, and that wearing it would disfigure one's face, had spread around the city.
Even worse, the rumor came true...
And it was only the beginning of a string of rumors becoming reality, one after another...
Before long, the protagonists discover the power to summon another side of them called "Personas," which they use to investigate the strange incidents around the city, all while facing their own personal demons as well. Time is once again on the march...
Key Features
The "Lost Persona" arrives, expanded and enhanced! - The only Persona game to never see a formal release in North America is finally here, with improved visuals, the option to play with the original or a remixed soundtrack, new quests, refinements, and much more!
A Twisted World in which Rumor Becomes Reality - When casual gossip suddenly becomes harsh existence, the denizens of Sumaru City realize the bizarre phenomenon can quickly get out of hand and be used to further nefarious agendas. It's up to you and your classmates to figure out what or who is pulling everyone's strings.
Befriend the Enemy - Contact enemy demons to gain items, tarot cards, and vital information only they have. Negotiate carefully: every demon reacts to certain approaches differently!
Full Team Control - Your entire squad is yours to command! Summon new Personas for all five members of the party and manage their equipment and items to give your team the best chance for victory.

Press Release
CINCINNATI – May 19, 2011 – Zoo Entertainment, Inc. (NASDAQ CM: ZOOG), a leading developer, publisher and distributor of interactive entertainment software, along with developer Eko Software today announced plans to release physics-based puzzle game Storm under its indiePub labelin Summer 2011 for Xbox LIVE® Arcade for the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, PlayStation® Network and PC.
“We are constantly in search of innovative projects for the indiePub label, and as the Community Favorite of our first game development competition, we are proud to be involved with the release of Storm,” said Mark Seremet, Zoo CEO. “The unique gameplay elements of Storm are coupled with a serene soundtrack to create an inspired gaming experience that can be enjoyed for hours at a time.”
In Storm, players control the weather to grow seeds into trees by guiding them through nature-themed levels set to a tranquil music background. By manipulating the weather elements, players solve puzzles. However, conjured weather can either help or hinder along the way. Seeds are transported past obstacles with gusts of wind, torrential downpours and bolts of lighting to reach various checkpoints throughout the game. Featuring 49 intriguing levels, players use three main elements and four secondary elements to maneuver five different kinds of seeds in each of the four seasons.
The three main elements include wind, lighting and rain. Wind moves seeds around. Lightning can break up rocks, set grass on fire and make seeds jump. Rain maneuvers seeds by filling up holes, extinguishing fires and creating bubbles. Secondary elements both complicate and enhance gameplay. Tornadoes strengthen wind, blowing seeds to higher ground. Bubbles also elevate seeds by enabling them to float, and can be used with wind to transport seeds across longer distances. Snow builds up, creating a cushion for seeds to access higher ground. Finally, ice provides a smooth sliding surface for seeds to move across.
Each level can be played in three unique game modes – adventure, challenge and spirit. Adventure mode allows untimed playthrough to unlock levels and progress in the game. Challenge mode has players finish unlocked levels to beat completion times and raise scores. Spirit mode features special orbs that are placed within the levels for players to collect as a means to rack up points and earn trophies.
Mind-bending yet relaxing, Storm is rated E for Everyone and will be available Summer 2011 at a MSRP of $9.99 for PSN and PC and 800 Microsoft® Points for XBLA. Old Posts Lost When Blogger Was Down Are Set To Re-Appear Throughout This Week
Blogger went down around 2 weeks ago and i lost 2 to 3 days worth of posts. some of the posts were restored but unfortunately there's at least a days worth that were restored but not in a way which readers can access them. so i'm going to re post them over the week when it's quiet. i won't restore all of them in one go, they'll appear when posts normally do on the site. Some posts may have to be slightly edited before they re-appear so there's a chance they may look different. this appears to be a result of Blogger's restoration process.

What Have You Played This Week?
I didn't get much console gaming done so I tried to get in more mobile gaming. Things should be returning to normal here and hopefully i'll be back gaming on consoles once again.
Football Manager 2010 – PC – I Won the Oceanic Cup Final with Vanuatu and I also won the Championship. Setting up for the premiership is hard, lots of players going, coming in, sorting out loan moves. I also have a new stadium being built, massive loan, and real pressure to stay promoted.
Pokèmon White – DS – i've not really played much of the game. Instead I focused on playing the web games and getting new Pokèmon.
Tiny Wings – iPhone 4 – this is a nice and easy pick up and play kinda game. I tend to play 5 minutes here and there. Every time I play I get a bit better which is great.
Hot Spring Story – iPhone – I love Game Dev Story and I wanted to try Kairosoft's other game and this doesn’t disappoint at all. The game world where this game takes place is unfamiliar but that's not an issue as there's plenty of information available. This feels a bigger, more indepth game compared to Game Dev Story and i'd say it would be best to try Game Dev first as it's probably a bit easier and less than intense. It is fun and its just as addictive as Game Dev Story. I have played through once and i'm keen to keep on playing, improving, and learning.
Portal 2 – PS3 – I love the first game. It really was an experience...and the only game I enjoyed out of the Orange Box. I've got the dual portal gun now and i'm loving it. The characters are fun, the story is interesting, and Glados is just as I remember....oh she remembers as well.
Air Penguin – iPhone – this is a simple game that's very addictive. Its motion controlled, and the levels are short. Its easy to complete the levels and if there is a hard one there are bonuses you can buy to make it easier. This is a great game to introduce people to iPhone gaming. Its simple, good in short bursts, looks great, and works well with the iPhone.
Dalton – iPhone – this is a simple running and jump game. The twist here is various power-ups and zombies. It was free and its a game I play for a couple of minutes. I'm not great at these sort of games, but the random placement of powerups keeps it fresh.
Spirits – iPhone – I have only dabbled with this game so far. It has a great look to it and appears to be a twist on Lemmings. You have spirits which you have to get to a goal. Each spirit can be given a job to help others get to the end. The levels are fun, the graphics are interesting, and the controls are simple. So far its enjoyable.
