Press Release

CINCINNATI – AUGUST 4, 2011 – indiePub, a subsidiary of Zoo Entertainment, Inc. (NASDAQ CM: ZOOG), today announced plans to release Vessel, a liquid physics-based puzzle platformer for PC, Xbox LIVE™ Arcade and PlayStation® Network this holiday season. The upcoming indie game is indiePub’s collaboration with independent developer Strange Loop Games.

Built on a groundbreaking liquid-physics engine, Vessel will allow players to solve puzzles by bringing to life physically-simulated liquid (water, lava, glowing goo, chemicals and more) by animating them into living machines called Fluros that retain all the properties of the liquid they contain. Using the unique technology of the Vessel engine, these liquid creatures are like no other character in video games; each possesses a body composed entirely of physically simulated fluid that allows them unique abilities that include melting, reforming, mixing with other types of fluid, and re-growing lost limbs. Combining the properties of each fluid type with the behaviors of the liquid creatures that it comprises, players will be able solve puzzles and progress in this fantastic mechanical world.

“The high level of artistry in the indie gaming space can result in truly inspired creations,” said Mark Seremet, CEO of Zoo Entertainment. “Vessel is an amazing game in our growing digital lineup that combines a creative storyline with stimulating gameplay and exceptional technology. It exemplifies the ingenuity and craftsmanship that we have found within the indiePub community.”

In Vessel, players take on the role of Arkwright, a renowned inventor whose inventions – living liquid creatures known as Fluros – have gone awry, turning on their users and disrupting machinery throughout the world. To fix the flawed Fluros and restore order, players must create, manipulate and destroy a wide variety of Fluros and operate complex machinery to solve challenging puzzles. Vessel takes players on an exploratory adventure through four fascinating worlds, fixing the work sites where Fluros are employed and ultimately leading the player to complete his next great invention, “The Device.”

Vessel will make its official debut during PAX Prime 2011 from August 26-28 at Booth #6410.

Vessel will be available this holiday season on PC ($14.99), PlayStation Network ($14.99) and Xbox LIVE (1200 points). For more information, please visit: www.indiepub.com/vessel.

Press Release

CINCINNATI – May 19, 2011 – Zoo Entertainment, Inc. (NASDAQ CM: ZOOG), a leading developer, publisher and distributor of interactive entertainment software, along with developer Eko Software today announced plans to release physics-based puzzle game Storm under its indiePub labelin Summer 2011 for Xbox LIVE® Arcade for the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, PlayStation® Network and PC.

“We are constantly in search of innovative projects for the indiePub label, and as the Community Favorite of our first game development competition, we are proud to be involved with the release of Storm,” said Mark Seremet, Zoo CEO. “The unique gameplay elements of Storm are coupled with a serene soundtrack to create an inspired gaming experience that can be enjoyed for hours at a time.”

In Storm, players control the weather to grow seeds into trees by guiding them through nature-themed levels set to a tranquil music background. By manipulating the weather elements, players solve puzzles. However, conjured weather can either help or hinder along the way. Seeds are transported past obstacles with gusts of wind, torrential downpours and bolts of lighting to reach various checkpoints throughout the game. Featuring 49 intriguing levels, players use three main elements and four secondary elements to maneuver five different kinds of seeds in each of the four seasons.

The three main elements include wind, lighting and rain. Wind moves seeds around. Lightning can break up rocks, set grass on fire and make seeds jump. Rain maneuvers seeds by filling up holes, extinguishing fires and creating bubbles. Secondary elements both complicate and enhance gameplay. Tornadoes strengthen wind, blowing seeds to higher ground. Bubbles also elevate seeds by enabling them to float, and can be used with wind to transport seeds across longer distances. Snow builds up, creating a cushion for seeds to access higher ground. Finally, ice provides a smooth sliding surface for seeds to move across.

Each level can be played in three unique game modes – adventure, challenge and spirit. Adventure mode allows untimed playthrough to unlock levels and progress in the game. Challenge mode has players finish unlocked levels to beat completion times and raise scores. Spirit mode features special orbs that are placed within the levels for players to collect as a means to rack up points and earn trophies.

Mind-bending yet relaxing, Storm is rated E for Everyone and will be available Summer 2011 at a MSRP of $9.99 for PSN and PC and 800 Microsoft® Points for XBLA.
