Sony Online Entertainment have announced that the 9th expansion for The Legends of Norrath, Vengeful Gods, is out now.

Vengeful Gods features:
• New Loot: Mounts return to Legends of Norrath with several amazing new loot cards, including new Spider Mounts in EverQuest® and new mount variants in EverQuest® II.
• New Cards: Exciting new game mechanics and the continuation of popular game play like “Shifting cards” add fresh, new strategies.

Sega Have Released A UK Launch Trailer For Sonic & Sega All Star Racing

Sega have released the UK launch trailer for Sonic & Sega All Star Racing. the trailer is made up from a mix of the games opening cinematic movie and gameplay footage. some of the tracks and most of the games characters are shown in the trailer, as well as some of the games features that are highlighted in text at the start.

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment have announced Batman: The Brave And The Bold. The game is set for release on the Nintendo Wii and Nintendo DS this fall. The Game has a story that will take the player on a journey through crime filled alleys, alien planets, underground cities, and laboratories.

Batman: The Brave and the Bold the Videogame has a single player campaign which can be played in co-op with friends. players plays as Batman and pick from Robin, Green Lantern, Blue Beetle. other characters, like Aquaman, drop in to help solve puzzles.

The game has 10 environments, each with multiple levels, where you will encounter the White Rabbit, Cheshire Cat and Mad Hatter. The White Rabbit gives the player the ability to freeze time, objects appear or disappear with the Cheshire Cat, The March Hare has telekinesis, and the Mad Hatter grants the ability to Transform Objects from one world to another.

This Weeks WiiWare, DSiWare, And Virtual Console Releases

Here are this weeks WiiWare and DSiWare releases for the USA. in total there are 7 new games to download, but no new games have come out on the Virtual Console.

WiiWare

GhostSlayer
this is a 1 player game that costs 600 Wii Points. you play as a ghost slayer who has to battle evil spirits. you have to work through them to get to the ghost Queen. the game has 3 levels of difficulty and supports Wii MotionPlus.


Mouse House
This is a 1 player game that costs 600 Wii Points. this is a logic puzzle game where you play a mouse on the hunt for cheese. the game as 100 levels where you have to navigate traps to get to the cheese.


Family Go-Kart Racing
this is a 1-4 player game that costs 500 Wii Points. this kart racing game comes with 12 tracks where you use the WiiMotes tilt controls to steer the kart.


DSiWare

Aura-Aura Climber
This is a 1 player game that costs 200 DSi Points. you play as Aura-Aura and have to help him back into the universe. Aura_Aura has a grapple arm which you use to grapple points and climb higher.


Flight Control
This is a 1-2 player game that costs 500 DSi Points. this is the DSi version of the hit iPhone game.


Faceez
this is a player only game that costs 200 DSi Points. you take pictures of faces and put them into the game. you can dress them up, put them in settings. you can also upload them to Facebook.

Funcom have released new screenshots, artwork, and trailers from areas in the GodSlayer expansion for Age Of Conan: Hyborian Adventures. These are from two areas in the expansion, the KaraKorum and The Gateway to Khitai.

The Artwork, Screenshots, and Trailers all come from in-game footage of the Godslayer Expansion. they show off the landscape, buildings, and enemies from each of the locations.

What Have You Played This Week?

I didn't get much gaming in. unfortunately, with power randomly cutting out i've not played a lot. Also, again with the ISP change over I didn't get much online gaming done.

Football Manager 10 – PC – thought I would have a go with another team. I'm now Annan and making my way through the first seasn.

Wipeout HD Fury – PS3 – played some offline races. Got stuck trying to get enough points to unlock another cell.

Unreal III – PS3 – near the end of chapter 4 now. Whilst the controls are great, the AI is stating to get annoying. This is defiantly a game that is best played in co-op and not one where you should rely on the AI to do the sensible thing. I'm stuck on avalanche but I have a few ideas on how to win it.

Okami – Wii – in the mayhem of the last week or so I forgot that I had rented this game. I've played the game in two big chunks and i'm starting to fall for the game. The graphics are amazing, the characters are great; there's a good sense of humour in the game, and it plays well. There are some issues with the WiiMote in the beginning, but it's easy to learn to compensate for them and they're not an issue now. I have no idea how far i'm into the game but I don't care, the game is flowing naturally and i'm hooked.

Halo ODST – 360 – I only turned on the 360 to change my wireless settings, but this was in the disc drive so I had a go. The graphics are average, apart from the face models which look terrible. The visor is a great addition and the subtle hints in the landscape on what to do is very well done. I'm not far into the story but i'm interested in seeing where it goes and what happened to the other ODST's. The combat takes a little to get used to, got to remember that your not the chief.

DICE Announce That The Battlefield Bad Company 2 Demo Was Downloaded Over 3.5 Million Times


EA And DICE have announced that the Battlefield Bad Company 2 demo has been downloaded over 3.5 Million Times. The Demo will expire on the 25th February, after this date the servers will be shut down.

EA And DICE have also released some stats from the demo so far:

Krome Studios have announced they are brining the Blade Kitten Comic Book exclusively to the Playstation 3 as a PSN Game this Spring. The game is a 2 part Mini series that will only come to the Playstation 3 Via the PSN. The game will have 19 levels, as well as 3 exploration levels.

In the game you play as Kit Ballard in a world called Hollow Wish. Kit Ballard is a bounty hunter who is part cat, part girl. the game will have a strong narrative as well as cinematics and arcade action. the game also features a unique art style that is colourful and cel shaded.

Sony Online Entertainment Announce Dragon And T-Rex Rides Are Out Now In Free Realms

Sony Online Entertainment have announced that new Rides are out now in Free Realms. The Dragon and T-Rex rides can also transport players, allowing players to move 150% faster around Free Realms than before. The T-Rex costs 450 Station Cash and the Dragon rides costs 550 Station Cash.

WHAT: What’s better than having a T-Rex or a Dragon as a pet? Having a T-Rex or a Dragon to ride you around in Free Realms! Dragon and T-Rex Rides are now available to transport players, with more Ride options coming soon.

Players on Rides can have all the fun in-game adventures they had before rides, but at quicker travel speeds. Rides are super-fast and let players travel around Free Realms at more than 150% of their normal speed.

Ride vendors can be found in Sanctuary, Seaside, Merry Vale, and Lakeshore. At each vendor there is a stable hand and a trainer to answer questions and help with purchases. To buy a Ride, talk to the stable hand or enter the Station Cash™ Marketplace. Konami Have Released New Screenshots For The iPhone Game Draw Parking


Konami have released new screenshots for Draw Parking. this is a iPhone game that is out now on the App store for £0.59/$0.99. This game appears to be similar to the Flight Control style game where you have to direct cars into parking spaces, avoiding hazards.
