EA Announce Battlefield Heroes Now Has Over 7 Million Registered Players


EA have announced Battlefield Heroes has over 7 million registered players. Battlefield Heroes is a free to play web based game and to celebrate reaching the milestone, EA have announced all players will receive 77 bandages, 77 Battlefunds and 77 wrenches just by logging in between 8th March to 15th March. You can also spend 777 Battlefunds and get a 7-day XP boost, a 7-day VP boost, a 7-day Sarge’s stamina boost and 777 tonics.

EA Announce Battlefield: Bad Company 2 Onslaught Mode is Coming Out 22nd June On Xbox Live And 23rd June On PS3

EA have announced that Battlefield: Bad Company 2 DLC Onslaught Mode is coming out worldwide on the 22nd June on Xbox Live Marketplace for 800 MS Points and on the 23rd June, in the UK, for £7.19. Onslaught Mode brings co-op to Battlefield: Bad Company 2, a first for the series.

EA have also annoucned that coming out this month is the Battlefield: Bad Company 2 Kit Shortcuts which will cost 560 MS Points or £5.19 individually. these shortcuts unlock all items related to their class and can the shortcuts can also be bought in a bundle for 1600 MS Points or £13.99. these shortcuts are coming out on 16th June.

EA Have Released A New Trailer For The 3rd DLC Map Pack For Battlefield: Bad Company 2

EA have released a new trailer for Battlefield: Bad Company 2. this trailer shows the new maps coming in the third Map Pack for the game, revealing they are Nelson Bay and Laguna Alta, and that the maps games modes are Squad Deathmatch and Squad Rush respectively. The video has alot of in-game footage from these maps and it also shows that these maps are free for VIP code owners, meaning it'll cost for those without a code.

EA Announce Battlefield: Bad Company 2 DLC, Onslaught Mode, Brings Co-op To The Game

EA have announced the next DLC coming to Battlefield: Bad Company 2. the Onslaught DLC brings the Onslaught Mode to Battlefield: Bad Company 2. This mode Brings Co-Op gameplay to the Battlefield franchise for the first time on a Console. Onslaught is coming soon to both the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 versions.

Onslaught mode can be played with up to 4 players, across 4 multiplayer maps - Valparaiso, Atacama Desert, Isla Inocentes, and Nelson Bay. each of these maps have been redesigned with new lighting, time of day, vehicles and more. Each map has a gameplay focus, requiring teamwork to complete and stave off the enemy AI. The Atacama Desert map focus is Vehicle Warfare, whilst Nelson Bay focuses on infantry assault.

EA Announce That Battlefield 1943 Has Sold Over 1 Million UnitsOn Xbox Live Arcade


EA Have announced that the Xbox Live Arcade version of Battlefield 1943 has sold over 1 Million Units since its release in July 2009. EA have also revealed that Battlefield 1943 is the fastest selling 1 Million game on Xbox Live Arcade.

EA Have announced that since the Launch of Battlefield Bad Company 2, the game has sold over 2.3 Million units. The game is also set to become the best selling March released game ever in both the USA and Europe. EA have also proudly announced that Battlefield Bad Company 2 has received a review score of over 90 from 46 different outlets.

DICE Announce That The Battlefield Bad Company 2 Demo Was Downloaded Over 3.5 Million Times


EA And DICE have announced that the Battlefield Bad Company 2 demo has been downloaded over 3.5 Million Times. The Demo will expire on the 25th February, after this date the servers will be shut down.

EA And DICE have also released some stats from the demo so far:

EA Announces That The Battlefield Bad Company 2 Has Been Downloaded Over 2 Million Times


EA Has announced that in just 5 days, the Battlefield Bad Company 2 demo has been downloaded over 2 Million times, combined, on both the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360. On the PC, EA say "hundreds of thousands of players already signed up". EA say that this demo is coming close to being the most downloaded EA demo ever.

EA Announce That The PS3 Battlefield Bad Company 2 Demo Comes Out 4th February


DICE and EA have announced that a PS3 Battlefield Bad Company 2 demo is coming out on 4th February. The Demo features the Port Valdez map, a 24 player, vehicle heavy map. the playable game mode will be Rush.

EA Announce That Battlefield Heroes Now Has Over 3 Million Registered Players

EA Have announced that their free to play third person shooter now has over 3 Million registered Players. to celebrate this, EA has released a new map called Sunset Showdown.

Sunset Showdown features 1 central control point, a hilltop church. the sunny side of the island will have tanks, whilst the shady side will feature jeeps and infantry. EA Has released screenshots of this new map which can be seen below.
