Feral Interactive have announced they are bringing Sega's Empire: Total War Gold Edition to Macs on 13th September. this Gold Edition comes with the game, game updates and DLC including The Warpath Campaign. Feral have also announced they will bring online Multiplayer using Game Center to the game later in the fall. the game is set to come out at both retail and digitally for $39.99, £29.99 and €34.99.

Sega have released new screenshots for the upcoming Empire Total War Expansion, Elite units Of The East. these screenshots are in-game and show various units from the Ottoman Empire and The Maratha Empire.
Sega has released new screenshots for the upcoming Elite Units Of America expansion for the PC game Empire Total War. the first group of screenshots show how different units look in the game and what kind of units they are. in the bottom left there is a logo describing what each unit is. the second group of screenshots are these logo's but a much bigger size.
Sega has announced that Empire Total War is being updated on Tuesday to 1.4, and Thw Warpath Expansion is coming out in October 2009. the Update sixes some minor issues but also adds 2 new battles, for free, the Battle of Rossbach and the Battle of Fontenoy, which can be played in Single Player or Multi player.
The Warpath expansion brings a new detailed North American campaign to the game, and 5 new American Indian factions, the Iroquois, Huron, Plains, Pueblo and Cherokee tribes. these can be used in both the single player and multi player campaigns. a new technology tree is introduced as well as 2 new agent types.
the trailer for the expansion features alot of ingame action showing various battles and units, as well as giving a bit of story from the American Indian Sides. the screenshots and artwork for the game also show many of the new units and battles in the game.

Empire: Total War – The Warpath Campaign adds a new detailed North American campaign map to expand the Empire: Total War experience. In addition to this, The Warpath Campaign also adds 5 brand new American Indian factions, the Iroquois, Huron, Plains, Pueblo and Cherokee tribes. The new playable factions will battle the invaders in the Warpath Campaign, and are also playable in multiplayer battles. A new technology tree, with 18 tribal technologies, will only be available to these new factions, as well as 2 new agent types, namely the mystical Shaman and the cunning Scout. These new factions will also have their own unique Elite Units.
The all new update 1.4, which is out on Tuesday September 22nd, fixes some minor issues with Empire: Total War, as well as adding 2 brand new historical battles: the Battle of Rossbach and the Battle of Fontenoy. Both battles are available in single player and multi player and are completely free.
