Feral Interactive Announce Empire: Total War Gold Edition Comes To Macs On 13th September

Feral Interactive have announced they are bringing Sega's Empire: Total War Gold Edition to Macs on 13th September. this Gold Edition comes with the game, game updates and DLC including The Warpath Campaign. Feral have also announced they will bring online Multiplayer using Game Center to the game later in the fall. the game is set to come out at both retail and digitally for $39.99, £29.99 and €34.99.



Requirements:
2.0GHz Intel Mac
4.0GB RAM
256MB or better graphics card
Mac OS 10.7.4 or later. 

The game does not support the following graphics cards: ATI X1xxx series, ATI HD2xxx series, NVIDIA 7xxx series and Intel GMA series.

Feral Interactive today confirmed that Empire: Total War™- Gold Edition will be released for the Mac on Thursday September 13th. Developed by The Creative Assembly and published by SEGA for Windows, the game is the next installment of the critically-acclaimed Total War series to be launched on the Mac.

Empire: Total War - Gold Edition places the series’ prized elements of real-time tactics and turn-based strategy against the turbulent backdrop of the 18th century. Exploring grand themes such as the Industrial Revolution, America’s struggle for independence, the race to control Asian trade routes, and the globalization of war on land and sea, the game charges players with the fortunes of a nation and challenges them to establish it as the world’s dominant power.

The Mac version of Empire: Total War - Gold Edition comprises the base gameEmpire: Total War and all the game updates and downloadable content, including The Warpath Campaign, where players take command of one of five Native American factions, defending their lands from invaders. It also includes four unit packs, the Special Forces Units and the Elite Units of the East, West and America.

“Empire: Total War - Gold Edition draws on rich historical source material to create a game with vast scope and astonishing depth,” said David Stephen, Managing Director of Feral Interactive.

On release, the game will support multiplayer over LAN. Feral also plans to enhance the game later in the Fall, by offering online multiplayer using Apple’s Game Center technology.

Empire: Total War - Gold Edition for the Mac will retail in North America for US $39.99, £29.99 (inc. VAT) in the UK and €34.99 (inc. VAT) throughout Europe. When released, it will be available online for direct download from a variety of digital partner sites worldwide including http://www.feralinteractive.com/ and the Mac App Store.
