Thursday 31st March 2011: Nordic Games Publishing, the company behind the successful We Sing range of Wii games, has announced the first extension to its ‘We’ brand with the introduction of We Dance, a new dancing game exclusive to Wii.

Unlike other dancing games, We Dance utilises three different styles of play – using the Wii Remote, using Nordic Games’ dance mat (the ‘Star Mat’), or distinctively a combination of both – each offering varying levels of difficulty.

“The market is primed for the release of We Dance, and it sits perfectly alongside our family of We Sing games,” said Nik Blower, sales and marketing director, Nordic Games. “We Dance is a great party and family gaming experience, accessible to people of all ages and abilities.”

We Dance will launch in May with 40 licensed tracks spanning four decades of music; from rock to pop, rap to disco and hip hop to drum ‘n’ bass, there is something for everyone. The majority of tracks include the original videos to further add to the experience.

For authenticity, all dance steps have been fully choreographed by professional dancers helping make We Dance a more rewarding and energetic experience.
“Nordic Games is fast becoming the home of music entertainment on the Wii, and this is a significant extension to our range,” added Blower.

We Dance is also sponsoring the games industry’s annual awards ceremony, the MCV Awards on 7th April at The Brewery in London.

We Dance will be available to buy with one or two’ Star Mats’, or as a solus game. As with We Sing games, We Dance was developed by Le Cortex alongside Wired Productions.

Press Release

30thMARCH (2pm UK) – Codemasters® today released a new DiRT 3™ gameplay video, showcasing the game’s sensational Group B Rally discipline. The ‘Group B Rally’ video features iconic rally cars like the Audio Sport quattro Rallye and Lancia Delta S4 hammering through forest roads and across arid scrublands, recalling a golden age of the sport. The new video is now playing at www.facebook.com/dirt3game.

Group B is synonymous with a short-lived period in Rally where light regulation and few restrictions on car development led to manufacturers producing some of the most exciting cars that the sport has ever seen. Group B cars have since entered Rally folklore since cars with their astonishing power couldn’t have been developed during any other era of the sport. Sadly, these iconic cars were involved in an increasing number of accidents, which resulted in the banning of Group B Rally in 1986.

The gameplay video showcases these super-charged icons of Rally being put through their paces in wide ranging conditions, from tarmac to dirt and snow. In DiRT 3, the Group B discipline gives players the ultimate test as they jump behind the wheel of some of the most famous cars to compete in the sport including the Ford RS200, MG Metro 6R4 and Peugeot 205 T16 Evo 2.

“The legendary Group B cars are some of the most sophisticated rally cars ever built,” said Paul Coleman, Senior Games Designer on DiRT 3. “Their raw power and unbridled speed make them a real challenge. They definitely separate the men from the boys.”

DiRT 3 will feature the most amount of Rally content to feature in the series to date, accounting for 60% of its extensive career mode. With rally stages set across three continents, players will learn to master tarmac, gravel and snow in dry and wet conditions for the most authentic rally experience.

The ‘Group B Rally’ video is now showing at www.facebook.com/dirt3game where fans can keep up to date with the latest news, screens and videos straight from the studio. Set to raise the bar for authentic and accessible off-road racing again, DiRT 3 is now in development at Codemasters Studios for a May 24th2011 release for the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft®, PLAYSTATION®3 computer entertainment system and PC Games For Windows® LIVE.
